Mission Spec – FlankSavers Add Side Armor Protection To EOC

Sunday, November 6th, 2016

The Mission Spec FlankSavers™ are a drop in replacement/upgrade for adding side armor protection to your Mission Spec Essentials Only Carrier (EOC)™. The FlankSavers directly replace the EOC side straps for a clean and easy install. Supporting up to an 8×8” armor plate or can be used without armor if the user is only looking to add more PALS area to their carrier. The EOCs ability to independently adjust the height of the rear plate bag is not compromised with the addition of the FlankSavers and the ability to integrate industry standard chest rigs is preserved.

You Can Finally Buy That Red, White & Blue Plate Carrier from Mission Spec You’ve Always Wanted

Tuesday, April 12th, 2016

YES. MISSION SPEC CAN BUILD YOU A RED, WHITE, AND BLUE PLATE CARRIER

As a company that is happy to accept custom work orders we are asked, fairly consistently, if Mission Spec can build a Red, White, and Blue EOC plate carrier for novelty use. The answer is of course, yes. We have built many of these for different customers and are happy to do it. Customers wanting pricing information on a custom build such as this should use our website contact. It will speed up the process if you include your shipping address with the initial inquiry.

Please note that building a product in this color scheme dictates that we must use some non-MilSpec materials. In other words this specific item SHOULD NEVER be used in a life support capacity. It will also NOT come with our limited lifetime warranty. It is purely cosmetic and to be used only for novelty purposes.

Marine South – Darley Offers HSP D3CR Rig and Mission Spec Rigit

Monday, April 11th, 2016

Darley Defense is a contract holder for the Defense Logistics Agency’s Special Operations Tailored Logistics Program. TLS offers government organizations, including military units, to purchase commercial Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment via interagency funding transfer mechanisms. The various companies on TLS are under contract to DLA and the customer buys the items from DLA. As far as the unit is concerned, they are buying from the supply system but getting the latest and greatest from industry.

One of the items I noticed Darley had available was the Disruptive Environments Chest Rig from Haley Strategic Partners. This rig was designed for HSP by Darin Talbot aka Eggroll, and is quite popular. It’s adaptive to different loads and is Berry compliant. The D3CR can be worn via its H-harness or, using SwiftClips attached directly to an armor vest.

The D3CR will accept AR type magazines as well as AK 7.62 x39mm and 5.45 x 39 magazines. The Multi-Mission Pouches accept 1911, Glock, Sig, M&P, XD and other standard double or single stack pistol magazines, as well as many handheld lights and multi-tools.  There are also two flapped GP pouches in either side but something you won’t see on any other chest rigs out there is the STUFFIT pouch which accepts a wide variety of odd-sized loads.

They’ve paired it with the Rigit from Mission Spec, a PALS adapter for armor carriers which offers SwiftClip QD mount points for rigs like the D3CR and others such as those offered by Mayflower.

This video gives you an idea of how the Rigit works.

While I know units have ordered a lot of different items over the years, this one hadn’t crossed my mind as something a unit might purchase via TLS. It serves as a great example and just goes to show how responsive TLS to the needs of its customers.

MS-040116-PressRelease-image1

4/1/2016 – Mission Spec has announced the release of two new products for the tactically aware market to help keep operators organized and on task. The first of the two products is the Mission Spec TacNotes. Built from 1000D CORDURA in a 3×3” configuration the TacNotes offer a disposable reminder system that allows operators to keep important mission details in mind. Due to their hook backing the TacNotes are able to stick to just about anything in your AO and with the loop front the TacNotes are stackable.

The TacNotes have been in testing with a certain Tier 1 unit for several years now. [Pictured] below is a
prototype model recovered from Abbottabad, Pakistan on May 3rd, 2011.

Also new from Mission Spec is the ERLINS (Extreme Resilient Low Infrared Note System). Due to the high
concentration of Type?A personalities and pre?workout supplements in the mission briefing room we have all
experienced the frustration of ripped briefing notes. The ERLINS are impervious to tears, creatine spills,
erasers, and anti?American activity.

MS-040116-PressRelease-image4

Both products are NIR (near infrared) compliant, Berry Compliant, made in the USA with US sourced components, and ITAR controlled via the U.S. Department of State because an organized enemy is a dangerous enemy. Colors available now: Black, Coyote, Ranger Green, UCP (already on clearance). Coming soon: MultiCam, Kryptek Highlander, AOR1/2, Desert/Woodland MARPAT, ABU.

The Mission Spec TacNotes and ERLINS will be available at MissionSpec.com and authorized Mission Spec
dealers.

WARNING: DO NOT take Mission Spec ERLINS or TacNotes into the field with classified information where
