Cut from ultra color-fast vat-dyed NyCo, These mil spec pants feature a 10 pocket design with 2-easy access slanted cargo pockets with drain holes, 5″x5″ hidden pocket and elastic drawstring with cord lock for secure closure, 2-extra deep front slash pockets with reinforced openings and 2-bellowed lower leg pockets with hook & loop closures. additional features include hook & loop closure pocket flaps, 1″ wide belt loops with 2-1/4″ openings, drawstring waist with button fly, reinforced seat, reinforced internal knee pockets for knee pad inserts with easy access external hook & loop openings and improved “stay tied” heavy drawstring leg ties. Cut from ultra color-fast vat-dyed NyCo, This mil spec shirt features an adjustable hook & loop mandarin collar that can be worn up to keep out debris or down for a more comfortable fit, a zippered front placket with hook & loop closure for smooth uniform appearance, bi-swing back, hook & loop faced shoulder pockets for patches & skill tabs, 2-slanted chest pockets with hook & loop closure. Additional features include 3-piece name/rank patches, adjustable hook & loop cuffs, reinforced external elbow pockets with external openings for elbow pad inserts (not included) secured with hook & loop closures and integrated pen/pencil stalls on sleeve. Sleeves and collar are cut from ultra color-fast vat-dyed NyCo, body constructed from No Melt, No Drip CORDURA® Baselayer fabric, a 60/40 cotton nylon blend that not only reduces the severity of burn injuries and helps protect against flash fires, but also breathes, wicks away moisture and dries quickly. Features include quarter-zip collar, zippered sleeve storage pockets, anti-abrasion padded elbow patches, gusseted sleeves, hook & loop cuff closures, loop on sleeve pockets for attaching name, rank and flag patches, glint tape holder for IR tape and no shoulder seams to minimize rubbing and chafing. Tactical Tailor & Tru-Spec Partner To Leave No Ranger Behind
Tuesday, October 7th, 2014Tactical Tailor in partnership with Tru-Spec provided OCP uniforms to the Ranger Regiment for their 30th Anniversary Celebration in less than 72 hours. That’s impressive.
Tactical Tailor received a phone call from a PNW-based Ranger BN on Tuesday morning (30 SEP 14) shortly after we had run our first article stating that the 75th Ranger Regiment would be switching to OCP for garrison wear on the Regiment’s 30th (Battalion’s 40th) anniversary celebrated 3 OCT 14. The unit was in urgent need of duty uniform quality OCP’s as everything they had been issued in the past has been used as “field/deployment” uniforms.
Tactical Tailor immediately reached out to Kurt Wendling of Atlanco. Kurt determined that Tru-Spec had enough stock on hand to support the Ranger’s short fuse request.
The Tactical Tailor SOCOM sales manager and Tactical Tailor purchasing manager worked through the night of the 30th scrubbing the size manifest by name and quantity required in order to have all the pieces in place so that Kurt and his team could immediately pull and package the uniforms for shipment on 1 OCT 14.
Tru-Spec had the required uniforms on the ground and in the Rangers hands prior to 1200 PST on 2 OCT 14, leaving plenty of time to get parade ready for the 30th Anniversary celebration on 3 OCT 14. Tactical Tailor and Tru-Spec accomplished their mission. No Rangers were left behind and everyone was in the proper uniform, although apparently, not every OCP uniform worn by the Rangers on Friday was an FR ACU.

New Announcements From TRU-SPEC
Thursday, July 17th, 2014Tru-Spec has just made a few new announcements regarding their product line, competitive shooting team, and their providing of uniforms for the upcoming Brownell’s Rockcastle Pro-Am 3-gun Championship.
First, Tru-Spec has partnered with A-TACS, and will now be offering their Tactical Response Uniform selections in A-TACS AU and FG. The TRU Shirt, Pant, 1/4 Zip Combat Shirt, Boonie, and Patrol Cap will all be available in the new patterns starting November 2014.
Secondly, Tru-Spec has added Bethany Harris to their roster of award winning competitive shooters. Bethany Harris has competed and placed in USPSA, IDPA, GSSF, and 3-Gun events. Harris, who entered the competitive shooting arena in 2010, has celebrated winning High Lady and a second place Tac-Irons Division finish at the Task Force Dagger 3-Gun in 2014 already this year; adding to a list of accolades, including: 2013 3-Gun Nation Ladies Division: 4th Overall, 2013 3-Gun Nation Divisional Series: 3rd Tac-Irons Division, 2013 Southeastern 3-Gun Championship: Tac-Irons Division Champion and match High Lady, 2012 3-Gun Nation Amateur Series Finish: 9th and 2012 3-Gun Nation Ladies Division Finish: 5th.
Lastly, Tru-Spec has been awarded the tile as “Official Range-Wear” for the 2014 Brownell’s Rockcastle Pro-Am 3-Gun Championship. They will be outfitting the entire staff with an option of 24-7 Series Shorts or Pants, Performance Polos, and Tac-Ts. Rockcastle will be hosting more than 500 shooters on the various courses, making it the largest gathering of competitors (and sponsors) at any one 3-gun outing.
The 2014 Brownell’s Rockcastle Pro-Am 3-Gun Championship is taking place at Rockcastle Shooting Center at Park Mammoth Resort in Park City, KY, August 22-24.
