Warrior Assault Systems has announced that they will be adding the A-TACS AU camouflage pattern to their lineup.
Oakley has finally released the SI version of their transition lens technology. The new SI Flak Jacket XLJ Transition SOLFX offers Oakley’s Transitions® SOLFX™ lenses. As sunlight brightens, the lenses darken to keep up. When sunlight is scarce, the lens color gets much lighter but never goes away completely in order to offer depth perception. The lens filters out 100% of all UV, and the Flak Jacket meets ANSI Z87.1 standards for impact protection. Additionally, the Flak Jacket offers a customized fit via two optional nose pieces.

Every Third Thursday Signal Snowboards builds a new creation. This past week, it was the Survivor Split, definitely a snowboard fit for the likes of 007.
It separates into two individual skis for traversing flat snow-covered surfaces and also has a third-section that can be used as a long-handled shovel for digging. But it’s about more than just mobility. Signal secreted a saw blade into one of the skis. They’ve also added a strip of flint along one edge for fire starting.
It’s really more of a shroud and it’s used by those who want to use short handguards along with longer barrels. It’s an aesthetic issue really. The down side to adding such extensions is that they prevent the use of a compensator. But, Strike Industries’ Cobra Series barrel extension overcomes this by removing the front cap. Then you can install any AR threaded compensator.
You can also apply the forthcoming S.I. FAT COMP which is specially designed with the same diameter as the Cobra barrel extension, allowing it to sit perfectly flush.
Mission First Tactical has released this very extensive video of their product line filmed during SHOT Show 2012.
