The SORD Hydration Helmet Carrier is a lightweight pouch that features an adjustable mesh beavertail load carriage bucket. The HHC is convertible into a pack with the included quick detach shoulder strap kit. Six adjustable tensioning straps allow controlled expansion of the cargo area for items including helmets, optics, 84mm rounds, water bottles, comms batteries, ghillie hoods, etc. The HHC features double-sided MultiCam PALS webbing, 6 columns wide and 3 columns deep. Internally, the pouch has a hydration bladder separation sleeve and small mesh admin pouch with Velcro closure. The main compartment features a twin zipper pull with large YKK zip. Other features include drainage grommet in bottom, twin comms ports with Velcro lid covers, tube tape carry handle, and fixed Velcro webbing tabs. Currently, the HHC is only available in MultiCam 500D.

Legion Firearms Discusses Memorial Day, Offers Discounts

Though Memorial Day should be a sober time to remember our fallen, celebrate their lives and decorate their final resting places, it has also evolved into a day second only to Veteran’s Day when it comes to remembering all of those who have served this Nation.
Two of the founding three Legion Firearms staff are combat-disabled veterans. Over a third of our full-time employees are veterans. As one might expect, all of us have friends, family and comrades we will remember this Memorial Day weekend and we urge everyone to remember the little things—do more than make a Facebook post or send a patriotic Tweet. Anyone can do that. Not everyone will go to the cemetery and plant flags, or visit the local VFW and American Legion and give your regards. At SOFIC, Rogue Gunfighter showed a completely new product, unlike anything they’ve done before. The Low Vis Chest Rig accommodates up to 8 magazines or smoke/flashbang grenades in the elastic pockets which include retention pull tabs that are height adjustable via Velcro.
Berry compliant, it’s manufactured from 500D Cordura, nylon mesh and elastic and incorporates a fully adjustable Velcro front closure that is very easy to use and is adaptable for use with a variety of clothing and equipment. You don’t have to adjust a bunch of buckles if it’s winter or you are throwing it on over soft armor. You just put it on and close the Velcro front opening. A 1/8″ shock cord adjustment system in the back will flex to give you a great fit.
The LVCR features a wide, Y-style yoke that evenly distributes weight. It also features plenty of loop for IFF and other patches. The fully adjustable yoke also includes D-rings and webbing on either side to secure or attach additional items.
You may find that the elastic waist section is similar to a cummerbund and meets in the back inside a Cordura sleeve which has a PALS field to attach pockets. This sleeve also serves to protect the elastic drawstring.
