Incorporating athletic styling with an exoskeleton design. I prefer the Earth Brown version below but they are also offered in Black and Desert.

The FLIR T70 is an uncooled clip-on thermal weapon sight designed and optimized for use with NATO 5.56x45mm and 7.62x51mm rounds with an approximate 500 meter range. It features a low, in-line opto-mechanical profile that compliments current Rifle Combat Optics and is suitable for weaponry featuring flip-down or removable front sight posts. The FLIR features a x1 default field of view for center of mass hits at 500 meters, and a x1.5 field of view to allow the operator to display a wide area of regard for situational awareness. It also functions as a standalone weapon sight and hand held thermal viewer.
The FLIR T70 is powered by either 3 AA batteries, 5 hours at 20 degrees Celsius, or 2 CR123 batteries, 4 hours at 20 degrees Celsius, and the batteries can be replaced without removing the sight from the weapon. It features the standard white hot/black hot polarity modes, although it can also show images in full color using several palette modes:
Gray (Grayscale) Palette – provides maximum contrast on targets against a uniform background using black and white shades.
Iron Palette – provides a color scale that goes from dark red through yellow to white to represent increasing temperatures.
Rain (Rainbow) Palette – uses all the colors of the rainbow from red through green, blue, and yellow to violet to represent increasing temperatures.
Ice (Fire & Ice) Palette – displays blue for cold targets and red for hot targets.
The FLIR T70 comes in a Flat Dark Earth finish.

Arc’teryx LEAF Expands Wolf Range
Friday, August 16th, 2013Grey has become the new Black and much of this shift is due to the success of the Arc’teryx Urban Wolf Grey. Consumer demand has prompted Arc’teryx to expand Wolf to other products. They’ve really gone all in. There’s everything from Gore-tex jackets and pants to the Talos combat uniform to packs and even the popular Knee Caps.
In addition to Arc’teryx, several other companies have jumped on board offering Wolf Grey that is an exact match. Still others have been inspired by the move and have released Grey versions of their own. One way to ensure that you are purchasing gear that uses real Wolf Grey is to check out their partners page which lists which companies also offer the color. Currently, these include Blue Force Gear, Smith Optics and LBT Inc. Additionally, I know that Mayflower and Velocity Systems are in the process of introducing Wolf as an option. Also, rumor has it that at least one Kydex holster company is on board with Wolf.

Friday, August 16th, 2013The TIHK, or Tiny Inconspicuous Handcuff Key, is exactly what the name implies, a small handcuff key designed to be hidden on one’s person. The TIHK features an attachment clip, minimal form factor, and a non-reflective matte coating to insure it remains undetected when detained. The key is designed to fit all standard “peerless” single and double-lock handcuffs. While concealable handcuff keys/unlock tools are nothing new, unlike other examples, this particular product is currently up for crowdfunding to fund the manufacturing process.
We’ve seen a lot of things hit crowd funding sources like Kickstarter and IndieGoGo, but we expect this one to cause a great deal of controversy. There are lots of handcuff keys available. They aren’t illegal to posses, at least in most places, but handcuff keys aren’t something you pick up just anywhere. Marketing this one on a crowd funding platform where virtually anyone can buy in is most curious.
