Khyber Packs from Arc’teryx LEAF – Load Carriage Equipment for Special Reconaissance

Released at SHOT Show, the Khyber packs from Arc’teryx LEAF are offered in 50l and 80l sizes. These lightweight packs are designed for use as recce packs. Tactical Fanboy is using a Khyber 80 during next week’s Mountain Problem Solver Course by Haley Strategic Partners. We are looking forward to his report.

BCS – BALCS LVR in Kryptek Highlander and Mandrake

Beez Combat Systems has introduced a new BALCS LVR (Low Vis Rig) System. At the same time they have added Kryptek Highlander and Mandrake not just to this vest but to their entire product line.

The BALCS LVR is a low profile scalable body armor system built around the popular and readily available BALCS cut body armor. The BALCS LVR supports both front and back soft and hard armor. The hard plate pockets will support SAPI, Swimmers/Shooter, or Rectangle cut hard armor.

Interchangeable load carriage pieces are available. In addition to the Kryptek patterns the BALCS LVR is also offered in MultiCam, A-TACS AU, A-TACS FG, Woodland, Coyote, Khaki, Ranger Green, OD and Black.

Johnny Memorial PMAG

GRANTS PASS, OR—March 28, 2013- Noveske Rifleworks announces the release of the limited edition “Johnny PMAG”. The Johnny PMAG was an idea that was hatched years ago by Drake Clark of Magpul, who was a personal as well as a professional friend of John. The goal of this project is to memorialize John Noveske in a fun way. 100% of the proceeds will be directed to a trust to benefit the Noveske children for years to come.

The Johnny PMag is a Magpul GEN M2 30 round PMAG designed for 5.56×45 NATO and .223 Remington AR15/ M4 platform weapons. This memorial magazine includes the Noveske “Flaming Pig” on one side, and the Noveske logo on the flip side. The selling price will be $50 each, with a limit of ten magazines per order.
