TacCraft – “Covert Rural Surveillance”

Due to several decades of operational application during “The Troubles” in Northern Ireland, the British developed an excellent standard in covert rural surveillance. CROPS UK offers a manual on covert rural surveillance.

“Covert Rural Surveillance” is a tradecraft manual dedicated to modern military techniques and covert tactics for rural surveillance operations. With over 560 pages, in excess of 1500 color images and diagrams, it offers unrivaled insight and quality to this unique subject. This manual has been designed, to enable the reader to carry it under the ‘top flap’ of their CROPS Bergen or other pack for immediate reference should it be required. It also contains a number of blank documents such as: Surveillance Logs / Reconnaissance Report Template / Replenishment Cards / Sketch Sheets and File Notes used on operations that can all be photocopied and used during your surveillance.

Active Shooter Response Gear from LBT Inc

There has been an increasing demand for Active Shooter response gear from Law Enforcement. Smith & Bradley – The Atlantis: An American-Built Automatic Dive Watch

The Atlantis is an automatic dive watch totally designed and built in Sidney, IL, USA. The watch utilizes a Sea-Gull ST2130 25 jewel movement sourced directly from Seagull, and flat, double side anti-reflective Swiss sapphire crystal. The unidirectional bezel is 316 L stainless steel with Superluminova at 12 and 120 clicks. The dial is matte black with Superluminova markers, and the threaded lug pins are made of 316 L stainless steel. The band is black silicon with a 316 L stainless steel buckle. Water resistant up to 200m.

The Atlantis is currently up for funding on Kickstarter. Although it has already met its funding goal, stretch goals may see the addition of a deployment buckle, stainless bracelet, and Horween Cordovan strap to the watch. Additionally, the watch will be available at roughly 48% off its original projected retail price.

Brand & Oppenheimer Acquires Performance Textiles, Inc

RED BANK, N.J. – January 21, 2014 – Brand & Oppenheimer Co., Inc. (B&O), a leading textile converter, today announced it has acquired the assets of Performance Textiles, Inc., a leading supplier of high-performance fabrics engineered for domestic and export customers, some of whom have worked with the company since its inception in 1988. TD TV | Daniel Defense | Shot Show 2014
