Hillier Ignite Proudly Presents the All In All The Time Foundation with the 2015 Warrior for Warriors Award

Sunday, July 12th, 2015

The All In All The Time Foundation, was established in 2008 as a tribute to the memory of Senior Chief Tom Valentine by his wife Christina Valentine. Their purpose is to fill the interim needs of the surviving spouses and children of our fallen warriors. Needs such as Legal fees, wills, estate management, household and auto repairs, counseling assistance (outside the military chain) and critical, immediate non-standard support categories.

All In strives to fill in the gaps by addressing the in between years. While this foundation can never replace these heroes, they work very hard to alleviate some of the burdens faced when a family has lost their provider.

It is abundantly clear Christina Valentine’s only desire is to run this organization and to serve her community and nation, with honor and integrity, just like Tom did.

Hillier Ignite is proud to stand with and support an organization so passionate about engaging the needs of spouses and families who find their lives forever changed by tragedy. It is our honor to present The All In, All The Time Foundation the 2015 Warrior for Warriors Award, and a check for $25,000.

Vickers Tactical Slide Racker for G42 Available Now from TangoDown

Saturday, July 11th, 2015

After trying out the Glock 42, Larry Vickers realized that the cocking serrations were difficult to use due to the pistol’s small size. Specifically, the small slide, shallow finger purchase cuts and stout recoil spring assembly make for tough initial chambering, especially for women or anyone with less than optimal finger/hand strength.

LAV went to his “go-to” guys to help engineer a fix, and that’s how TangoDown got involved. The resulting GSR-01 is a top quality drop-in part that solves the issue cold. Injection molded of glass-reinforced nylon with stainless steel reinforcement just like the OEM part, it replaces the striker retention plate in minutes with no other modification to the sidearm. Once in place, the GSR-01 offers easy, effortless and positive slide cycling under any condition.

Gunfighter Moment – Larry Vickers

Saturday, July 11th, 2015

Americans love to customize stuff and make it our own. Certainly you see this anywhere you go on this planet but make no mistake Americans set the standard. I would say it’s one of our greatest strengths in the firearms world. But it is also one of our greatest weaknesses as I see many guns in my classes customized to the point of being unsafe. Meaning they could not be counted on to function properly in a gunfight.

My take on this is real simple; you have range guns and real guns. We all have range guns (also known as range toys) and that is where they need to stay. Never grab one of these to protect yourself with. With your self defense guns make sure any modifications make sense and bring something to the table. Also make sure they will stand up in court. If in doubt on this last part consult a lawyer that specializes in this area. Get ready because if your carry gun has a Punisher skull on the back of the slide or your self defense carbine has ‘Surprise Cock Fag’ on the ejection port cover your probably not gonna like what your attorney tells you. Just food for thought – as always it’s your skin so it’s your risk.
