Savage Arms Unveils the Next Generation of the Historic Model 110

Monday, January 19th, 2026

WESTFIELD, Massachusetts – January 16, 2026 – Savage Arms®, an iconic firearm manufacturer, has announced a new era of its legacy Model 110. The new chapter of this platform features 16 purpose-built models and spans hundreds of new SKUs, including new cartridge offerings and left-hand models.

The Legacy

The Model 110, introduced in 1958, holds the distinction of being the longest continuously produced bolt-action rifle in America. Designed by Nicholas L. Brewer, it was initially chambered in .30-06 Springfield and .270 Winchester, offering hunters a robust, yet affordable option, priced at just $109.75 when it was introduced. Over the years, the Model 110 has continued to evolve, introducing innovations such as the AccuTrigger™, AccuFit™ and AccuStock™ systems, enhancing its performance and user customization.

“The 110 is our longest standing rifle, and for good reason,” said Beth Shimanski, Vice President of Marketing at Savage Arms. “This model has helped make Savage Arms what it is today, and it will be a part of the future of Savage for a very long time. Building on the next evolution of AXIS that was launched in 2024, the new era of the 110 exemplifies Savage’s ability to maintain our standing as a heritage brand while staying at the forefront of innovation.”

The New Era

The upgraded platform features the all-new AccuFit V2™, powered by the Quick Set Dial (QSD system, which makes quick adjustments effortless. The integrated, toolless design lets you fine-tune your length of pull and comb height at any time. No hassle, no tools. Fit for you, giving you confidence in every shot. Some models will also offer users the option to change their pistol grip size. Options in small, medium and large grip modules make this stock truly fit for anyone.

The redesigned stock, inspired by the modern shape popularized on the Axis line-up, features a high cheek piece and steep grip angle, enhancing both aesthetics and ergonomics

Manufacturing advancements include a “vertical cut” process in the receiver’s bolt travel, resulting in a smoother and more precise bolt action. The bolt head now features an improved extractor claw for better case contact, complemented by a dual ejector system to ensure reliable ejection.

A new synthetic magazine, compatible with older 110 models, offers improved feeding and handling. The second-generation AccuTrigger™ has been refined to prevent lock-up on the AccuRelease™ blade if the trigger weight is set too light, while retaining its ease of adjustment and crisp break.

The investment reflects Vortakt’s ongoing commitment to manufacturing technology, operational excellence, and its “OEM Promise”.

“One of our goals has always been to expand our offerings in ways that align with our OEM customers’ requirements and finishing preferences,” said Chad Weister, Managing Director. “By adding 5-axis machining, we can now deliver fully finished pistol barrels that meet our customers’ precise design requirements while also supporting the operational efficiency they depend on.”

• Fully finished pistol barrels are now available to OEM firearm manufacturers

• Precision 5-axis machining for finishing operations to customers’ exact specifications and drawings

“This investment elevates the depth of our machining and finishing capabilities,” added Weister. “OEMs can now rely on Vortakt for more of their barrel needs, supported by the same consistency, accuracy, and service they have come to expect. Monday, January 19th, 2026

The special edition release is now available in 13 states and Washington, D.C. for purchase online.
New York, NY (January 15, 2025) – SPYRT Worldwide, the veteran-founded importer dedicated to bringing Ukraine’s finest wines and spirits to the U.S., proudly announces the launch of the Ukrainian Spirit Limited Howitzer Edition with a special packaging made from used artillery shell propelling charge cases from Ukraine’s defense against the russian invasion. 10% of the profit from sales is donated to Invictus Global Response, a team of US Veteran bomb technicians who clear landmines in Ukraine as volunteers and train demining teams.

“We’re incredibly proud to introduce the Ukrainian Spirit Howitzer Limited Edition,” said Sam Lerman, Co-Founder and CEO of SPYRT Worldwide. “This release is far more than an extraordinary 3-liter vodka, as it’s hand-crafted from repurposed military powder charge tubes and finished with meticulous leatherwork. With a portion of all proceeds from the manufacturer supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this product allows consumers to directly support a powerful cause while experiencing exceptional quality.”

The Ukrainian Spirit Limited Howitzer Edition 3-liter is bottled at 40% ABV/80 proof using SPYRT’s Ukrainian Spirit Reserve Vodka. Crafted using a unique “SINGLE WATER” technology, in which the water, spirit, and vodka all originate from the same artesian well tapped since 1876. This crystal-clear spring water is drawn from 200 meters beneath the lush pine forests of Volyn and combined with specially selected grain from the steppes of Western Ukraine. The vodka is produced using patented Pentagonal distilling technology and undergoes a 10-day resting period before bottling. This meticulous process has earned Ukrainian Spirit a Double Gold at the WSWA 2025 Tasting Competition.

The base of this drink’s packaging is crafted from a repurposed M119A2 Propelling Charge Case, sourced directly from Ukrainian military personnel. Each tube is carefully refurbished to restore its appearance and smooth out any dents from previous use. The Ukrainian Spirit Limited Howitzer Edition is then wrapped externally in genuine Italian leather, which is hand-stitched around the case. The bottle’s “label” is also made from genuine Italian leather and features all product information. It is secured to the bottle with metal fasteners, highlighting the product’s meticulous craftsmanship.

Galvion Expands ‘Charge on the Move’ Capability with Vehicle and Dismounted Integration Solutions

Monday, January 19th, 2026

Galvion, a global leader in the design and manufacture of innovative head systems, power and data management solutions, and integrated soldier systems, has expanded its Charge on the Move capability with the introduction of new vehicle-mounted and dismounted integration accessories designed to support real-world operational use. This announcement coincides with SHOT Show, taking place in Las Vegas, 20-23 January 2026, where Galvion is exhibiting the Charge on the Move system alongside their wider product offering on booth #32003.

Building on the field-proven Squad Power Manager™ (SPM), these new accessories transition Charge on the Move from a demonstrated capability into a scalable, mission-ready solution that enables power generation, distribution, and battery charging while on the move—whether mounted in vehicles or carried by dismounted operators. The expanded offering includes a vehicle mounting solution for the SPM, developed in collaboration with Juggernaut.Case™, and a Mobile Power Pack, created with Haley Strategic™, providing a fully integrated, modular option for dismounted power and radio management.

The SPM Vehicle Mount securely installs the Squad Power Manager across a wide range of vehicle platforms, supporting rapid installation, clean cable routing, vibration protection, and tool-free removal for dismounted operations. Designed to accommodate varied vehicle interiors and mission needs, the mount offers multiple attachment options, allowing units to position the SPM where it is most accessible. Tested to relevant MIL-STD environmental requirements, the mount supports reliable power access while vehicles are in motion, allowing soldiers to arrive at the point of dismount with charged batteries and powered equipment.

Complementing the vehicle configuration, the Mobile Power Pack offers a complete, ready-to- deploy backpack-based solution designed to carry the SPM, SoloPack™ batteries, radios, cabling, and associated accessories in a single optimized loadout. Developed with Haley Strategic, the pack integrates modular organization panels, cable routing, and ergonomic load distribution to support communications-heavy roles and extended operations

Todd Stirtzinger, CEO at Galvion, said: “Charge on the Move was always envisioned as more than a single configuration—it’s about giving units flexible options to manage power across platforms and phases of a mission. These integrations reflect how operators actually work, and how partners can help accelerate deployable capability rather than one-off prototypes.” He added: “By working with established industry partners, Galvion continues to expand our power and data ecosystem beyond standalone hardware, offering validated configurations that can be adopted as accessories or tailored into program-specific kits.”

The Charge on the Move vehicle mount and mobile pack are available as accessories for existing Squad Power Manager systems and can be incorporated into customized power and communications kits based on mission and user requirements.
