Reebok Expands Sublite Cushion Tactical Series with New Safety Toe Styles for 2019

Monday, December 3rd, 2018

St. Louis, MO (Dec 3, 2018) – Warson Brands, official licensee of Reebok for duty and uniform footwear, announces two new additions to its popular Reebok Sublite Cushion Tactical series of footwear for law enforcement and military professionals.

The new RB8809 builds upon the success of the Reebok Sublite Cushion Tactical series by offering a coyote brown version with composite safety toe and side zipper for wear with the new Air Force uniform. “With the Air Force transitioning to the OCP uniform, we wanted to make sure they had the option of wearing a composite toe and side zip version of our most popular military boot,” said John Duvic, VP of Product Development at Warson Brands.

Also new for 2019 is the addition of the RB8606, a 6-inch version of the Sublite Cushion Tactical featuring a composite safety toe and side zipper. “Because it is so lightweight, our Sublite Cushion Tactical boots have been popular among law enforcement professionals, and we had several requests for a safety toe version with a side zipper. The composite toe is still very lightweight, but adds a lot of protection,” says Duvic.

The RB8809 and RB8606 will be available for purchase at an MSRP of $150.00 and $160.00, respectively. Reebok Duty will display the full line of Sublite Cushion Tactical boots at SHOT Show booth #10179.

Reebok duty footwear and the Sublite Cushion Tactical series are available through select retailers throughout the United States. For more information on the Reebok Sublite Cushion Tactical, visit reebokwork.com/sublite-tactical.

UNITY Tactical Announces MARK & SARA Upgrade

3654F0FA-40FF-4968-9387-A054300A5B50

In an effort to continually improve our products, we have upgraded all wire forms in the MARK (Modular Attach Rail Kit) to a standard length with swaged tips. This means that MARK wire forms will allow more vertical adjustment and will be 100% drop-in compatible with 3M Peltor products out of the box. The new swaged tips are also 100% compatible with our SARA (Sordin Arc Rail Adapter) systems for use on MSA/Sordin-based headsets.

F154215A-9D97-4168-A646-CF3E3023F968

The MARK is the most complete system for direct mounting communication headsets and electronic ear protection to modern helmets. It is the smallest, lightest, and lowest profile attachment method for most popular headset systems used by professionals on the modern battlefield, including 3M Peltor, MSA, Sordin, Safaraliand TCI, TEA, and many more. Kits are available to interface with Genuine Ops-Core ARC, Crye Precision ARC, Revision, Team Wendy, and MTEK MLOK rail platforms. The wire forms of the MARK system are designed to put more inward pressure on the ear cups to improbe the seal. This can provide better hearing protection, electronic communication transmission, and overall fit of the helmet. The small hub leaves more helmet rail estate open for attaching other mission critical gear like lights, illuminators, cameras, etc.

MARK and SARA and built in the USA.

MARK Systems are available at www.unitytactical.com/shop/mark-kit.

SARA Systems are available at www.unitytactical.com/shop/sara-sordin-adapters.

Retrofit MARK wires for previously-purchased MARKs are available at www.unitytactical.com/shop/mark-wire-forms.

SIG SAUER Introduces SPEC1 Premium Firearm Care System

Thursday, November 29th, 2018

Newington, N.H. (November 29, 2018) – SIG SAUER is pleased to introduce SPEC1, a premium firearm care system, specially formulated for SIG SAUER by SLIP2000. SPEC1 is a non-toxic, non-hazardous, pure synthetic based lubricant with no Teflon™, silicones, or petroleum distillates.

“This partnership between SIG SAUER and SLIP2000 that has resulted in SPEC1 is a win for our consumers. For years SLIP2000 has been the lubricant of choice amongst our SIG SAUER Academy instructors and military units in the U.S. and around the world, because of the quality and performance of the product,” began Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales, SIG SAUER, Inc. “It’s important to us that our consumers have easy access to the same products used by our instructors, and can have complete confidence in the lubricants and cleaners they are using on their firearms because it has earned the SIG SAUER name. The introduction of SPEC1 accomplishes all of these objectives to the benefit of our end user.”

The complete SPEC1 Premium Firearm Care System includes: synthetic gun lubricant, light gun grease, bore solvent, and gun degreaser. SPEC1 is formulated to reduce heat and wear, and to keep firearms running smoother and lasting longer. SPEC1 will not attract dust, dirt and sand, or feel sticky and tacky like most petroleum-based products on the market today. This synthetic lubricant will not dry up, freeze in cold temperatures, or allow carbon, copper, and plastic wad fouling to stick in the barrels or to gun parts. This non-toxic, non-hazardous formula is completely safe for the end user during application, cleaning, and firing.

“SLIP2000 is honored to be working with SIG SAUER, one of the world’s best firearms companies, to introduce SPEC1. We are also extremely proud that our lubricants earned the favor of the elite SIG SAUER Academy instructors through rigorous use and testing,” began Greg Conner, President, SLIP 2000 / SPS Marketing. “This partnership means that SPEC1 lubricant is now the official lubricant of the SIG SAUER Academy, and that all SIG SAUER firearms will be manufactured with the SPEC1 lubricant, and a product sample will ship with every SIG SAUER firearm. To earn the endorsement of SIG SAUER, and know they want to put their name on our lubricants and cleaners, is very exciting for our brand.”

The SPEC1 Premium Firearm Care System is available at your authorized SIG SAUER dealer, at sigsauer.com, and the SIG SAUER Academy Pro Shop, 233 Exeter Road, Exeter, New Hampshire.
