Vertx Is One Big Tease

WARNORD: Next weekend, a week from now, we will be having a contest. 3 choices for a prize: a pair of Phantom LT pants or one of 2 earth-tone sweaters with MC on shoulders and elbows (both size XL). Recently, a US Army Drill Sergeant shared this beauty written by a new recruit when queried on his motives for joining Big Green.

Some have said this is the worst reason ever to join the Army but they are just out of touch. These detractors have obviously never spent any time around Group back in the ’80s. There were loads of Tolkien reading, DnD playing, sword forging dudes in SF back then.

OR – Granite Gear Name That Pack Contest

Granite Gear likes to bring military packs to OR that show capability and that’s the case with this variant of the Chief Patrol. It’s a bit slimmed down and in addition to the standard roll top with antenna and radio cable slits, this 40 liter pack incorporates a panel to access the load.

Here you can see the zippered water bladder pouches that accommodate 100 oz bladders.

And finally, you can see the Chief suspension.
