Orion Design Group informed us that the winner of the SHOT Show scavenger hunt is Frank Johnston. He is the the lucky winner of a FirstSpear ECP pack in Lupus (Transitional) pattern. I have an ECP and it is a great assault pack suitable for every day carry for many. I hope Frank gets a lot of good use out of his.
During SHOT Show, outdoor brand Outgo had a bunch of really cool kit in their booth. It was a sample prize pack from some of the top tactical brands including Tactical Tailor, Camelbak hydration packs, Max-4 hunting waders, Rivers West waterproof fleece, Outgo care products, Gear Aid repair product and more.

Elite Defense gave us some good news and some bad news today. The good news is that they drew a winner for the Higher Ground raffle which consists or a carbine and a whole slew of kick ass accessories. Of course, the bad news is that I didn’t win it.

Remember the Spartan Imports raffle we mentioned from SHOT? It apparently went pretty well, and Tactical Fanboy has the results, as well as pictures of the airsoft weapons painted and equipped to mirror what Dalton Fury carried on the ground after 9/11 (which several members of the team went by and signed at SHOT). Sniper Company LLC is teaming up with Chris Kyle, the author of “American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History” to run a contest.
Sniper Company LLC sat down and shot the breeze with Chris Kyle during this year’s SHOT Show Media Day. During that visit, Kyle signed a copy of his new book, specifically for this contest.
To enter, go to the “American Sniper” Facebook page and “Like” it. Once you have done that, take a screen shot and post them in this this thread on the Snipercountry forum. The pictures have to show that the “Like” button is missing, indicating that you have liked the page.
Second, “Like” Sniper Company’s page as well. No screen shots needed here…they can verify.
Once you’ve “Liked” both pages, and posted the screen shot in the Sniper Country thread, you are automatically entered into the drawing.
Drawing will be held on March 3, 2012.
