Austria’s Claw Gear exhibited two load carriage harnesses.

This minimalist rig consists of the 4 Point Harness Lightweight, Operators Sleeve, and Sleeve Belt LW.

For heavier loads consider the padded 4 Point Harness, Raider Sleeve, and Sleeve Belt.

Both should be available soon.

Designed as a replacement for the long serving AFO, the Claymore is lighter, thinner, and faster opening.

Also an automatic opener, they’ve improved the blade steel to CPM-D2 and moved the pocket clip for deep carry. Additionally, Benchmade moved the safety and enlarged it to make it easier to manipulate.

If all that wasn’t enough, it’s also cheaper than the AFO.

The Claymore has been issued NSN 1095-01-796-1907.

Adept Armor is a US company that specializes in ballistic armor innovation like their NovaSteel Ballistic Buckler.

They took the opportunity of Enforce Tac to preview their latest product, a hard armor plate that replaces the ceramic strike face with treated glass. The result is both weight and cost savings. We should have some definitive ballistic performance and weight data soon.
The other garment I wanted to show you from Tilak is the new Jotun MiG jacket. It is manufactured from Polartec WindPro material which makes it more abrasion resistant than standard Power Stretch. I really like the styling.
It features zippered shoulder pockets on either arm, two zippered lower chest pockets, and pit zips for ventilation.
Offered in Green and Black, sizes Small – XXLarge.

This show continues to expand, year after year. In 2024 Enforce Tac isn’t just adding a day but it’s also expanding to two large halls in the Nürnberg Messe.

Rheinmetall is exhibiting their Squad Support Weapon 40, a semi-auto, box-fed 40mm Grenade launcher. It fires Rheinmetall’s new programmable medium velocity rounds as well as legacy low velocity rounds. These rounds can be programmed for airburst and include:
HE Fragmentation (HEFRAG16)
Anti-Tank (HEDP16)
Door Breaching (HEBE14)
Air Burst (HEAB)
Training (TPM, TPM-T)
Illumination / Fog
Sound & Flash and Stimulus Ammunition (CS)
While we see a 5 round magazine, there is also a 3 round magazine under development which sits flush with the bottom of the pistol grip. Additionally, a 10 round magazine is under development. The weapons weighs about 4 kg.

This is the programmer which is the same one they are using for high velocity 40mm rounds fired from the Mk19 and HK GMG. It programs the round via IR.

With the US Army poised to release the Precision Grenadier System requirement, the SSW40 will surely be a contender.
