Rule One Adventure Foundation Fundraising Drive

Friday, February 21st, 2020

Today we wanted to bring forward Rule One Adventure Foundation and their charity drive.

R1AF was founded by three prior service Army Officers who now serve their communities as Law Enforcement Officers and security team members.

Rule One Adventure Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that provides outdoor adventure experiences for Veterans and First Responders who need assistance with mental health recovery. Rule One provides small group, 3-4 day excursions, with hiking, camping, and anything/everything outdoors, tailored to individuals that they are accommodating.

Rule One’s Mission: To help heal struggling veterans and first responders, and combat the suicide crisis through exposure to the therapeutic nature of the outdoors.

Endstate: To reduce and end suicide among Veterans and First Responders.

R1AF’s charity drive is in support of their first expedition (Operation Outdoor Sentinel) slated for late April early May. This event is solely funded by the sale of the new t-shirts that they have created with an outstanding team of sponsors. 100 percent of these proceeds will go to support Operation Outdoor Sentinel.

In an effort to do their part, HALFBREED BLADES is offering a Limited Edition Drop Bear morale patch to raise funds for Australia Wildlife. $10.00 from the sale of every patch will be donated to Wildlife Victoria to help our native koalas and their friends get back on their feet.

A limited run of 1,000 patches are available for immediate delivery, so please help reach the target donation goal of $10,000.

So far $5,000 in donations have been raised, the target goal is well in sight!

ICEY-TEK Teams with Task Force Dagger Foundation to Support U.S. Special Operations Command Service Members and Their Families

Saturday, February 15th, 2020

ICEY-TEK USA is proud to formally announce their support of Task Force Dagger Foundation which helps wounded, ill, or injured US Special Operations (USSOCOM) members and their families.

“As we grow as a company, we are always looking at ways to expand our support of the military communities we came from,” explained ICEY-TEK USA co-founder and U.S. Army veteran Jack Schoenberger. “An example of that is our formal addition of Task Force Dagger Foundation to our evolving list of featured causes we directly support. Most of my military career was spent assigned to units that are part of U.S. Special Operations Command. Plus, my wife is an active-duty Army officer assigned to a USSOCOM unit. This is the community that has become our extended family and the community that Task Force Dagger Foundation serves. At ICEY-TEK we share the Task Force Dagger Foundation belief that those ties are never severed by illness, ETS or retirement.”

Task Force Dagger Foundation responds to Immediate Needs, conducts Rehabilitative Therapy Events, and provides next-generation Health Solutions for issues facing our Special Operations Forces (SOF). Task Force Dagger Foundation is a rallying point to help SOF members combat Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), and participate in rehabilitative therapy events with their families. These programs help USSOCOM families heal and move forward as a family.

More specifically, Task Force Dagger Foundation assists service members and their families with immediate needs not covered by the DoD, VA, or their insurance. These needs are usually from a service member being wounded in combat, injured in training, or an illness that occurs on active duty resulting in hardships. The Foundation works closely with USSOCOM’s Warrior Care Program to ensure that every need is vetted and verified and the service member and his or her family have the best assistance, not just financially but through family support programs, to ensure the best possible outcome.

For Rehabilitative Therapy Events (RTE), Task Force Dagger Foundation sponsors activities that foster a sense of well-being, offer encouragement, and assist service members’ rehabilitation and recovery from wounds/injuries sustained while serving our country. One of the foundation’s core beliefs is that if the service member is injured, the whole family is injured and must heal together. It is important that the service member and his or her family understand that they must bond and work as a team. It is because of this core belief in teamwork that the Foundation brings the whole family to Rehabilitative Therapy Events. These events include not only SOF wounded, ill, or injured and their families, but also Gold Star families and other families who have lost loved ones in the service of their country.

Through SOF Health Initiatives, Task Force Dagger Foundation is increasing access to and awareness of Personalized Functional Medicine Approaches that deliver Lifestyle, Integrative, and Nutritional interventions that address root cause dysfunction in the Special Operations Forces (SOF) community.

ICEY-TEK USA sets aside a portion of every purchase at checkout to go to a non-profit cause of the buyers choosing. The Task Force Dagger Foundation is now a featured cause on the ICEY-TEK website.

Now On Kickstarter – Cipher: The Belt You NEVER have to Re-Adjust

Monday, February 10th, 2020

The Cipher is Carbon Tactics’ 17th Kickstarter project.

Carbon Tactics says the belt practically patches itself, thanks to the two neodymium magnets and their patent pending design.

The tail or “flap” of the belt tucks underneath. When you’re ready to remove your belt, just push and twist to unlatch. Yet, the connection remains secure under load.

The buckle is made from anodized Aircraft Grade Aluminum. Choose from Black, Dark Earth, and Silver.

The belt is available in a single or double-layer Biothane or single or double-layer nylon. Or, a hybrid option with Biothane and nylon.

Between buckles and belt, you’ve got a wide variety of combinations.

Here’s the size chart.

Remember, it’s a Kickstarter campaign, so if funded, it will be awhile before you receive your belt. Having said that, Carbon Tactics has a great reputation for successful campaigns and fulfillment.

Hero Labradors Freedom Raffle

Sunday, January 12th, 2020

A little over a year ago we shared a Whiskey-5 for Hero Labradors. They are a Veteran fun non-profit that produces QUALITY, genetically sound, AKC registered Labradors with AKC Champion bloodlines. They select, raise, and breed our girls (and one boy) to produce very high quality pups. Then, they select service dog training programs worthy of our dogs–and we give these dogs to them, free of charge, with only their guarantee that they train them and donate them to either a disabled veteran, wounded warrior, or first responder (or their family members) who need them.

It’s a worthy cause and they are holding a raffle to find their efforts in 2020.
