What if a placard could go beyond the hook and loop? What if all of these could be wrapped into a modular and functional kit… with Tubes?

FirstSpear didn’t have to ask what if, those at the Tip of The Spear asked this of us… we answered the call. Coming December 2023.

AXL Advanced Releases MPU5 CommSled

Wednesday, November 15th, 2023

The CommSled mounts the PTT offset to the carrier and flexibly allows clearance of ATAK and similar systems, lower profile mounting, and improved access to PTT controls. Using shockcord, the CommSled pulls the PTT’s outer edge into the plate carrier’s intercostal space and keeps it spaced so that EUD devices can be used without interference by larger PTTs.

S.O.Tech Parachutists Kit Bag

Thursday, November 9th, 2023

Paratrooper gear is part of S.O.Tech’s DNA.  When we were contracted to sew the Universal Parachutist Kit Bag for a major aerospace firm, we saw the huge design advantages over the old school aviator kit bag.  So when we were contracted by a major shoe company to do a collaboration on a tactical themed bag, we saw an opportunity to take the UPKB design and shrink it to gym bag dimensions.  That project was in colors to match the shoes, so this year while looking at the materials left over from our UPKB run, we saw an opportunity to make a paratrooper homage bag.

The bag is shorter and we had to drop the external flapped pocket, but otherwise nearly identical – even down to the dark red paracord we used on the zipper pulls.

Bags go live Friday 11/10 12pm PST. $180. Ships immediately. Limit 1 per customer.

Armageddon Gear Hunt – Possibles Bag

Monday, November 6th, 2023

Armageddon Gear recently launched their hunting line just in time for the fall season.

The Armageddon Gear Hunt, Possibles Bag was easier to create than to name. This style bag has been used since the 18th century by frontiersmen, trappers, rangers, explorers, and hunters that crossed over the Mississippi to head west. Over the years this style of bag has been called many things. Originally it was called a Bullet Pouch or Hunting Bag.

Used to carry the essential tools to operate a muzzle loader, fire starters, knives, and other small necessities. Later it became known as a possibles bag, which according to research was a larger bag typically carried by horse for camp items as well as furs. Waterfowlers have called this a Ditty bag which was originally a bag carried by seamen for their personal effects as well as tools. So, we have chosen to call this product…The possibles bag, since its possibilities are numerous.

Available in Oak or Tan waxed canvas.
