Gear Pockets are great organizers. They’re kind of like an oversized shaving kit that provides numerous mesh pockets to organize your gear. It can be hung up like a shaving kit along a wall or the side of a vehicle or even between two trees if need be and then rolled up or folded in half for movement. All-in-all it’s a pretty cool idea, whether at home storing your gear or while deployed and using it every day.

Realizing that the basic admin pouch concept seemed a little tired industry-wide, BDS Tactical sought input from their Marine customers at nearby Camp Pendleton. The result is their Squad Leader Admin Pouch (SLAP) which integrates additional GP capability/space. The rear inside panel includes 6 ink stick slots, and a 6†x 6†pocket with a “D†ring for dummy cording. The front inside panel offers two pockets which are a great fit for GPS and compass storage.
