Thursday, June 20th, 2019

Although UA’s Breeze T-Shirt is already available for women, a men’s version is just around the corner. Intended for running and other high intensity activities, the new Gore-Tex Infinium fabric is intended to keep you cool and dries quickly. The material is super soft and highly breathable. It also incorporates Anti-odor technology which prevents the growth of odor-causing microbes.

Last year, WL Gore introduced their Infinium program. Customers have long trusted the Gore brand to keep them dry, but the company had begun to develop new materials based on ePTFE. Some of these were not traditional membranes, or were being used in new ways. The company adapted by introducing the Infinium program which uses a white label to distinguish it from the more traditional “Guaranteed to Keep You Dry” Gore-Tex application. In this case, the fabric is a combination of 90% Polyester and 10% ePTFE.
