LBT Jumpable Packs
Wednesday, October 16th, 2013There have a been a couple of packs that have come out over the years that have been specifically designed for use by airborne forces. The Enhanced Warfighter Jumpable Pack by London Bridge Trading Co is the latest and was created based on several requirements. First, they needed two models, a variant that was large enough for extended operations once the paratrooper hit the ground as well as a version to carry mortars. Additionally, they required an Integrated Single Point Release and leg loop stowage, Padded ESAPI Stowage for jumping and, last but not least, Berry Compliance.
LBT answered the call with the Enhanced Warfighter Jumpable Pack and the Enhanced Mortar Jump Pack. Both offer 4200 cu in of load carriage capacity with the Mortar model also capable of externally carrying a base plate. Both incorporate padded shoulder straps and waist belt and are Made in the USA.
As you can see, a single point release has been built into the bottom of the pack and is concealed via a zippered flap when not in use. Both the Enhanced Warfighter Jumpable Pack and the Enhanced Mortar Jump Pack have been airdrop certified by the Airborne and Special Operations Test Directorate.
Hill People Gear – How About A Kryptek Highlander Tarahumara Pack?
