NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits Named Nation’s Fastest-Growing Association Show

Friday, August 24th, 2018

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Trade Show News Network has recognized the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits as 2018’s Fastest Growing Association Show in the U.S., presenting the honor at the TSNN Awards Aug. 11 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Coming on the heels of the largest NRA Annual Meetings in history last May in Dallas, the event, already named amongst TSNN’s Top 25 Fastest-Growing Shows in the country, earned the top spot from amongst hundreds of association shows annually.

Unusual for a 70 year old show from a 147 year old organization to garner such an award over organizations representing new, developing industries, Jeff Poole, NRA’s Director of Shows and Exhibits, said the award “demonstrates the vitality of the NRA and the firearms industry.”

Poole added, “This award is proof that NRA is in tune with its membership, true to its mission and delivering the content our members want.”

The 147th NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, held May 3-6, 2018 in Dallas, welcomed a record attendance of 87,154 patriots to explore more than 800 exhibitors, workshops, seminars and entertainment events in the biggest Annual Meetings to date. This year’s landmark event also marked the first time in NRA history that both a sitting President and Vice President of the United States attended and addressed NRA Members.

The 148th NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits is scheduled for April 25-28, 2019, in Indianapolis. To learn more about the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, visit https://www.nraam.org

Sunnyvale, CA —

In September 2017, THYRM introduced the CLENS, a revolutionary lens cover for weapon lights. First available in a variety pack to fit many models of lights, consumers requested the ability to order only specific sizes. In response, THYRM now sells the CLENS in three sizes in addition to a variety pack. New items include 18 lenses each to fit the following lights.

CLENS-18S
SureFire X300U, XH30, Scout Lights
Inforce WMLx

CLENS-18M
Streamlight TLR, TLR-HL
SureFire G2X, 6PX

CLENS-18L
Streamlight HL, HL-X
SureFire Fury, Intellibeam

CLENS (pronounced “cleanse”) are heat-resistant clear polymer circles that are cut to fit on a wide range of flashlight and weapon-light lenses. CLENS protects the lens from carbon and other debris that can build up from the use of lights during firearms training. CLENS can be removed to quickly clean a light, rather than having to apply Vaseline before shooting, replace a lens or risk abrasion with lens cleaners.

The CLENS is the collaborative effort of Thyrm and Aaron Cowan of Sage Dynamics / Sage Instruments. Designed and manufactured in the USA, these new dedicated sheets are now available at Thyrm.com.

Tuesday, August 21st, 2018

DroneShield Ltd (ASX:DRO) (“DroneShield” or the “Company”) is pleased to advise that its full product suite has been approved for placement on, and placed on, the GSA Schedule.

The GSA (General Services Administration) is an agency of the United States government that supplies products for U.S. government offices and operates the Federal Acquisition Service (the FAS). As part of this effort, it maintains the GSA Schedule, which other U.S. government agencies can use to buy goods and services. Procurement managers from various U.S. government agencies can seamlessly make purchases of the products that are on the GSA Schedule, knowing that the terms of such purchases have been preset between the vendor and the GSA. The official description of GSA Advantage refers to it as “the Federal Government’s premier online shopping superstore.”

As part of the placement on the GSA Schedule and GSA Advantage for federal procurement, DroneShield’s products have also been approved as qualifying for purchase through GSA Advantage by state and local governments.

This is an important step for the Company as it allows any U.S. federal agency and U.S. state and local government agencies, to buy DroneShield’s product seamlessly, from a pre-qualified catalogue of products, without going through a competitive and bespoke process.

DroneShield CEO Oleg Vornik commented “United States federal, state and local governmental agencies are responding to the ever-increasing drone threats by taking proactive measures. The placement of DroneShield’s product suite, including its drone detection and drone mitigation products, on the GSA Schedule and in the GSA Advantage catalogue now allows for instant and pre-approved procurement of the Company’s products by governmental employees with appropriate authority, at a click of a button.”
