Monday, January 18th, 2010FNH USA has added the Tactical model to their lineup. Originally developed for the U.S. Joint Combat Pistol Program the FNP-45 Tactical offers the standard FNP-45 ACP performance plus a host of unique features. The 5.3†stainless steel barrel has a threaded muzzle to accept a sound suppressor or compensator and features an integrated mil Std 1913 rail.
The pistol features ambidextrous magazine and slide releases. Additionally, the backstrap is modular and can be swapped out. The sights are configured with a green dot front post and yellow rear dots in order to ensure proper sight alignment in the dark. Both the frame and slide are finished in Flat Dark Earth. The stainless steel slide also accommodates mounting bases for optional red dot electronic sights. Each FNP-45 Tactical comes with three 15-round magazines as well as an Eagle tactical soft case.
The pistol will be on display in the FNH USA booth #13060 at SHOT Show.
Archangel Armor’s Internal Frame Load Bearing Armor on Display at SHOT Show
Sunday, January 17th, 2010Archangel Armor will be displaying their Internal Frame Load Bearing Armor (IFLBA) with numerous partners throughout SHOT Show. Additionally, they will conduct demonstrations and be available for questions and answers at the Source One Distributors booth. Archangel just completed a load study with the North Carolina State Ergonomics Lab and will conduct a formal release of this data after SHOT Show.

A-TACS Media Event
Saturday, January 16th, 2010The SHOT Show A-TACS media event will be held in the Bushmaster Booth #14627 on Wednesday (second day of show) 20 January.
Digital Concealment Systems in conjunction with Bushmaster will hold two separate media events:
9:00 – 10:00 am – coffee / pastry
2:00 – 3:00 pm – water/soda snack
All of the A-TACS vendors will have have samples on display and there will be press kits available.
Announcing “The Blackheart Sentinel”
Friday, January 15th, 2010Blackheart international will be handing out free copies of the premier issue of “The Blackheart Sentinel”. This newspaper-style quarterly features articles on Blackheart International’s products, services provided by Mid-Atlantic Training Resources, as well as other articles of interest to the tactical community. Issue 1 will feature some surprises in particular including new products for the RPG as well as an in-depth look at Blackheart’s new line of custom BHI-15s.

Shellback Tactical to Launch 6 New Products at SHOT
Friday, January 15th, 2010TAG’s Shellback Tactical division is set release six new products at SHOT Show including a new Cobra Buckle riggers belt that is said to be priced lower than anyone in the industry.
They are also unveiling the BANSHEE but all they will release is the name. I can’t wait to see what it is. Stop by the TAG booth #25411 at SHOT and see for yourself.
EOTAC Launches New Emerson Knife Collaboration at SHOT
Thursday, January 14th, 2010From the get go, EOTAC wanted to do a knife to complement their clothing styles so they went to knife making legend Ernest Emerson to produce the EOG-1 (Elite operator Grade). Emerson designed a custom blade design crafted from 154CM premium Stainless Tool Steel hardened to 57 Rockwell with a partial serration. The EOG-1 also features G10 scales and Titanium liner lock.
The production knife will only be available with the partially serrated blade like the Black variant above. The A-TACS version below is a prototype shown so that you can see how it will look with the camo finish. The knife will be available only through EOTAC and select EOTAC dealers and quantities will be limited. It will be offered in Black, Khaki, OD Green, and A-TACS.
EOTAC has a whole slew of new stuff coming for SHOT in booth #11456. Hopefully, we will be able to give you a couple of more sneak peeks before the show kicks off.
