SilencerCo Introduces the Next Generation of Large Bore Suppressors: The Hybrid 46M

Tuesday, October 12th, 2021

Multi-faceted Modularity Evolved

October 12th, 2021 — West Valley City, UT — SilencerCo is excited to announce the newest addition to their product line, the Hybrid 46M: the world’s first modular large bore suppressor. It is the natural evolution of the original large bore suppressor, SilencerCo’s Hybrid 46, with the added benefit of being modular, giving shooters the option of using it in either a short or long configuration. The Hybrid 46M and all other SilencerCo products are available at SilencerCo Retailers.

Effectively reducing the sound signature of everything from 9mm to 10mm and 5.56 NATO to .458 SOCOM, the Hybrid 46M takes it to the next level for those who want the versatility of the Hybrid 46 with added modularity. It is compatible with virtually every centerfire firearm platform due to its wide range of available attachment accessories.

“The Hybrid 46M is the perfect tool for shooters hoping to suppress a variety of calibers on both pistols and rifles with only one suppressor,” said Dewie Vieira, SilencerCo’s Senior Product Development Specialist. “It’s the first modular big bore suppressor ever; it’s the answer for those who want to suppress every small and large bore caliber.”

The real beauty of the Hybrid 46M, however, is that it allows the shooter to remove the front module, providing a shorter and lighter option that is especially useful on handguns. While SilencerCo’s Omega 36M is still the best modular option for .30 caliber pistols, the Hybrid 46M gives shooters the ability to suppress big bore pistol calibers like 45 Auto and 10MM.

Included in the MSRP of $1,117.00, the Hybrid 46M ships with a multi-tool, a spanner tool, an ASR mount, a .46 caliber front cap and a .30 caliber front cap — everything the shooter needs to get started.

Product Specifications:

Includes Charlie ASR Mount, Charlie .30 Cal Front Cap, and Charlie .46 Cal Front Cap.

SIG SAUER Introduces the Next Generation of Suppressor Technology with SLX and SLH Series of Suppressors

Friday, September 17th, 2021

NEWINGTON, N.H., (September 17, 2021) – Born out of the current military requirements to deliver cutting-edge performance, SIG SAUER is proud to introduce the SLX and SLH series of suppressors. The advancement of the SLX and SLH series of suppressors was realized through the wholesale transition of the SIG SAUER product line to Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) resulting in the most innovative suppressor technology to date – the next generation of suppressors has arrived.

“The commercial launch of the SLX and SLH suppressors has been highly anticipated due to the fact that these are the suppressors we developed exclusively for our Next Generation Squad Weapons program submission,” said Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales, SIG SAUER, Inc.  “The DMLS manufacturing process of the SLX and SLH suppressors eliminates the drawbacks of welded baffles that historically presents design limitations for sound, flash, and the reduction of toxic fumes.  Alternatively, the SLX and SLH suppressors are designed to not only withstand the rigors of the battlefield through its innovative monolithic design, but they are each optimized to dramatically reduce harmful toxic fumes and sound because of patented design features that can only be achieved through the non-traditional manufacturing processes.”

The SIG SAUER SLX Series of suppressors are designed to drastically reduce toxic fume inhalation by the end-user and sound reduction and are available for 5.56 or 7.62 NATO calibers.  The SLX suppressors feature a monolithic core construction in Inconel, an internal multi-flow path to exhaust gases at a higher rate resulting in lower toxic fume inhalation, a sound reducing baffle design, a flash reducing end cap, and are available with either the new Clutch-Lock QD mounting system for easy install and removal that offers an intuitive tactile locking ring with infinite radial locking positions, or direct thread.

The SIG SAUER SLH Series of suppressors are designed to provide the highest degree of sound reduction in both supersonic and subsonic ammunitions and available for 7.62 NATO and 300BLK calibers.  The SLH suppressors feature a monolithic core construction in either Inconel or Titanium, an internal multi-flow path to exhaust gases at a higher rate resulting in lower toxic fume inhalation, a sound reducing baffle design, a flash reducing end cap, and are available with either the new Clutch-Lock QD mounting system for easy install and removal that offers an intuitive tactile locking ring with infinite radial locking positions, or direct thread.

Dead Air Armament Goes Multi-Purpose With The Primal

Friday, August 27th, 2021

For Immediate Release – Kamas, UT – The industry leader in firearms sound suppressors, Dead Air Armament is pleased to announce the addition of the .46 caliber, magnum rated Primal suppressor.

The Primal is a multi-purpose .46 caliber “Rifle Centric” suppressor that is optimized for cartridges like the .458 Socom, 45-70, 450 Bushmaster, yet versatile enough to be effective on sub-caliber handguns. Rated to handle the extreme pressures produced by large magnums like the 338 Lapua, the Primal is tough and at 16.5 oz it’s not overly heavy. As a true multi-purpose suppressor, the Primal can accept the SD500 booster assembly making it usable as a handgun silencer and can be configured to mount with direct thread, KeyMo, Xeno, or 3-lug.

The Primal is constructed with 17-4 Stainless Steel for a high strength to weight ratio, low maintenance, and stress free experience.  The Primal body is coated with a high heat cerakote with a mount / endcap that have a Nitride treatment for lifelong durability.

“One challenge to creating a multi-purpose suppressor that does everything well, is the balance of weight, strength, and sound suppression.  We call the Primal “rifle centric” because the strength and weight balance is leaning towards rifle level performance but don’t hesitate to put this on your favorite pistol.  This thing will eat up anything you throw at it”

Said Mike Pappas, Founder Dead Air Silencers
