Armageddon Gear Announces Deliveries of Soft Goods Products in Support of M110A1 CSASS Program

Buena Vista, Georgia – 25Jan2021 –The Army began receiving deliveries of the M110A1 Compact Semi-Automatic Sniper System in 2020. This updated platform is lighter in weight, more compact, and more versatile than the previous-generation M110 rifles. Manufactured in Germany, the rifles will then be kitted with optics and accessories by HK-USA at their Columbus, Georgia facility.

Armageddon Gear will deliver approximately 6,300 units of their SASS rifle case (available for purchase at www.armageddongear.com), the CSASS suppressor mirage cover, based on the highly successful Armageddon Gear Hi-Temp Suppressor Cover, and an accessory pouch that can hold cleaning supplies, batteries, laser rangefinders, anemometers, or other accessories.

Icarus Precision, Accuracy, Control, Enhanced “A.C.E.” 320 X-Compact Grip Module

The SIG SAUER P320 is truly a modular pistol and with the introduction of the P320 Fire Control Unit as a stand alone product, it’s even easier to assemble your own custom pistol thanks to companies like Icarus Precision who are making great frames for this platform. Icarus came on my radar last year when I found out about their frames for the P320 which are machined from billet 7075 T-6 Aluminum. During this year’s SHOT Show on Demand, Icarus Precision unveiled a new model.

The new Accuracy, Control, Enhanced or “A.C.E.” 320 X-Compact Grip Module is a great choice for a concealed carry build.

This frame features horizontal textured index points on the front strap, back strap and sides, to help increase draw speed and handling making for a consistent positive and precise grip. They’ve also slightly modified the beaver tail to reduce muzzle flip.

Although it is designed to be compatible with the OEM Sig X-Compact 15 round mag, they have reduced the overall circumference of the grip handle profile. It will also accept the 21 round magazine. There’s also a deep undercut trigger guard allowing for a higher grip point. Finally, there’s a Mil-Std 1913 Picatinny rail and lanyard point.

Offered in safety and non-safety versions in Armor Black, Tungsten, Midnight Bronze, OD, FDE and Raw.

Strike Industries SIAR

The Strike Industries SIAR is a monolithic modular short-stroke piston gas system AR-15 upper receiver assembly. The SIAR uses any AR-15 compatible barrel with 0.75-inch gas block journal that has a mid-length gas system and the barrel is easily swapped out by loosening two (2) hex screws. Keeping the theme of trying to use as many common Mil-Spec AR-15 parts as possible, the SIAR BCG can use any AR bolt head to easily change calibers. A 4-position regulated gas block propels a single gas piston. Since the operating system is contained within the upper, you can use any lower receiver with or without a receiver extension giving you any option to pair the SIAR upper assembly with. The side charging handle is swappable, non-reciprocating and placed forward out of the way. Handguard has five (5) M-LOK slots on either side and six (6) on the bottom. Various colors. SIAR will need a barrel, BCG, firing, muzzle device and AR lower receiver to complete.

Strike Industries Strike Iron Sights – Suppressor Height for SIG P320

Strike Industries has added a SIG P320 compatible version of their Strike Iron Sights – Suppressor Height. These sights are also available for Standard Frame Glocks.

They offer an elevated sight picture for red dot or suppressor pistol setups and incorporate steps at the rear to help reduce unwanted glares or reflections. Made from SUS630 hardened stainless steel. The rear sight has a U shaped aperture and the front sight can be painted.
