Hi-Lux Introduces New Rifle Scope for CMP and NRA Service Rifle Matches

September 9th, 2017

The Hi-Lux XTC 1-4 X 34 rifle scope is specifically designed for CMP and NRA High Power “Across the Course” Competition. Featuring a 34mm objective lens for optimal light gathering, the XTC 1-4 X 34 has front objective parallax adjustment from 15 yards to infinity. Since stages for Across the Course matches are set at fixed distances of 200, 300 and 600 yards, an adjustable parallax is critical in minimizing the parallax error.

Additionally, fine ¼ MOA click elevation and windage turrets allow for precise adjustment. The XTC 1-4 X 34 is the next generation of the Hi-Lux Close-to-Medium Range (CMR) tactical scope and is loaded with advanced design features that truly put it in a class all of its own.

Blue Force Gear Focuses On Lightening The Load With Their Innovative Technology At DSEI

September 8th, 2017

POOLER, Ga., September 7, 2017 – Blue Force Gear®, the designer and manufacturer of the world’s finest weapon slings and tactical equipment, is gearing up to promote its innovative technologies meant to Lighten the Load™ of tactical equipment. Blue Force Gear will highlight tactical equipment that utilizes each of its innovative technologies at the Defense and Security Equipment International (DSEI) show at ExCeL, London from Sept. 12-15.

Blue Force Gear is built on innovation, always looking to elevate tactical equipment and gear across the industry. Through the introduction of the Helium Whisper® Attachment System, MOLLEminus, ULTRAcomp® and Ten-Speed®, Blue Force Gear continues to revolutionize the way tactical gear is made.

The MicroTKN!™, the smallest version of the Trauma Kit NOW!™, utilizes Ten-Speed technology with its outer MOLLE or belt mounted pouch. The MicroTKN! is designed to hold essential lifesaving medical supplies in a small, easy-to-carry pack that takes up minimal space and carries a low profile. The kit currently is offered in three options: basic, advanced and unfilled.

Blue Force Gear strives to lighten the load for tactical operators with its innovative technologies and newest tactical equipment. The PLATEminus Plate Carrier utilizes MOLLEminus, a revolutionary load carriage platform that is fully MOLLE compatible. Being the lightest plate carrier on the market is just one example of how Blue Force Gear’s innovative technologies are changing the way load carriage systems are designed.

“We are dedicated to innovation and always introducing the best products we can to our customers,” said Stephen Hilliard, Director of Product Development of Blue Force Gear. “We’re really looking forward to everyone seeing our next generation of gear and all that Blue Force Gear has been up to in 2017.”

Ritter & Stark GmbH New Sponsor of Guardian Long Range Competition

September 8th, 2017

As part of its sponsorship, Ritter & Stark has donated a gift certificate valued at $3,277 to the prize table.

Feistritz, Austria (September 2017) – Ritter & Stark GmbH, an Austrian-based firearms design and manufacturing company, is proud to announce that it’s signed on as a sponsor of the Guardian Long Range Competition. As part of its sponsorship, Ritter & Stark has donated a gift certificate of 50% off a rifle valued at $3,277 to the prize table. The Ritter & Stark team will be at the final Guardian match of the year to be held September 16, 2017 at Woody’s Hunt & Rifle Club in New Hill, North Carolina. In addition, the Friday before the last Guardian match of the year, R&S will be hosting a demo of the SX-1 MTR for attendees to shoot. Attendees who try the SX-1 will automatically be registered to win a free registration for any 2018 Guardian match, a thank you for coming out and trying the R&S SX-1 MTR.

The Guardian Long Range Competition is a full day precision shooting event, offering competitors the opportunity to test their skills with a rifle and compete. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the competition will go toward reducing the orphan crisis by helping offset the financial cost for parents considering adoption through Bethany Christian Services, America’s largest Christian nonprofit organization.

“We are proud to be sponsors of the Guardian Long Range Competition and glad we have the chance to give a well deserving champion an amazing prize,” said Yakov Trakhman, marketing director of Ritter & Stark.

Ritter & Stark produces the stunning SX-1 MTR rifle, an advanced long-range precision rifle, designed by the world’s best engineers, using state of the art machinery and proprietary techniques. The SX-1 MTR allows the operator to quickly and easily change out calibers between .308 Win, .300 Win Magnum and .338 Lapua Magnum while in the field.

In addition to the ease of interchangeability, the barrels come with a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail pre-installed, allowing the operator to pre-sight optics on each barrel, eliminating any need to re-zero the rifle when changing caliber.

One of the secrets to Ritter & Stark’s unprecedented accuracy is its unique barrel production. No other barrel maker in the world manufacturers its barrels like Ritter & Stark. The rifling is done in a CNC-controlled electrochemical machine. This avoids the transmission of thermal effects and mechanical stress to the material. Furthermore, this process allows Ritter & Stark to produce barrels with unique uniformity and within tolerance zones that were not possible in serial production before.

Every rifle is tested at the factory and can achieve 0.5 MOA 3-round groups or better using factory match grade ammunition.
