FirstSpear Friday Focus – FirstSpear Beanie

For this week’s Friday Focus, we’re taking a look at the FirstSpear Beanie. The counterpart to the FirstSpear Neckie, the FS Beanie is constructed from Polartec anti-microbial fabric. This keeps the wearer warm and has moisture-wicking properties, plus the Beanie is constructed with just enough extra material to double up over the wearer’s ears if it gets just a bit too cold. Milipol – Kirintec IED Extraction Kit

Milipol – Taiga Military

Swedish clothing company Taiga is almost unheard of in the United States but they make much of the Swedish military’s environmental clothing such as the snow camouflaged system pictured here. It includes the Field Jacket LWO, Field Trouser LWO and Reinforcement Hat SF, all in Snow UV Pattern.

Milipol – Air K Marine

Milipol is host to numerous vehicle system but they are generally armored security vehicles. However, Air K Marine’s Hoverfly 580 hovercraft is something entirely different.

At over 20 feet long 10 feet wide it boasts a crew of one and up to five passengers. The Hoverfly 580 will do 54 knots on smooth ice, 30 knots on smooth water and 20 knots on smooth land.

TNVC – NVG Adapter For GoPro HERO Cameras

TNVC has announced an NVG Adapter for GoPRO Hero Cameras. The device attaches any HERO model camera (although it is optimized for the HERO4 Black and Sliver and HERO3/HERO3+) to a Night Vision Device with a PVS-14 Eyepiece Assembly. A translucent amber beam-splitter attaches to the rear of the goggle, bouncing the night vision image 90° into a perpendicular-mounted GoPro HERO camera, while allowing the user to see through the eyepiece normally.
