Beyond – Stretch Alpha Sweater

February 24th, 2016

The Stretch Alpha Sweater combines the warmth and moisture transport of an insulating layer with the durability and mobility of a softshell. The jacket is built out of three layers; starting with a grid fleece that pulls moisture away from the body towards a layer of Polartec® Alpha® Insulation. The Alpha® Insulation traps and retains body heat while continuing to transport moisture to the outer shell where moisture spreads and evaporates. The final layer is a flexible 4-way stretch woven fabric that is highly durable and protects you from the wind and rain.

Features:
Insulated hood
Front zip
Internal left chest pocket
Hand pockets

Materials:
Polartec® Alpha® Insulation – 60g
Polartec® Power Grid® Fleece
Tweave® Durastretch® Nylon with DWR

Bawidamann Blades  – Nuckeye Titanium EDC Bottle Opener

February 24th, 2016

This is a Ben Bawidamnn custom project that he finally made time for. It’s called the NUCK-EYE; a key chain/beer bottle opener with a little extra punch to it. Since they are Ohio boys, they thought that old number 17 would make a great addition to your nights out on the town. Someone’s point of view not lining up with your mid-western values? Use this handy tool to reset the conversation, then have a beer.

Each one is hand finished 6al4v Titanium in either quarter inch or half inch stock thickness, and every one is unique in color and finish.

Way Of The Gun Covert B.E.L.T.

February 24th, 2016

Former Green Beret and tactical firearms trainer Frank Proctor refined the design of the Covert B.E.L.T. (Bring Everything Light Tactical) over a period of three years. Now, it’s his EDC belt as well as his range and competition belt.

The sides of this 1.5″ wide belt incorporate a stiffener where you would wear an OWB holster or external mag pouches. However, there’s no stiffener at the rear, but rather a small velcro pouch located at the small of the back. One of my favorite features are the plastic D-rings used to secure the belt. They aren’t only low profile, but allow you to keep your belt on while going through metal detectors. Additionally, the Covert B.E.L.T. offers elastic loops for magazines, sewn directly to the belt. These elestic slots are lined so mags won’t fall out and there are two pistol mag pouches up front and a pistol and rifle mag pouch on both sides behind the hip making the belt ambidextrous.

The Covert B.E.L.T. is made in the USA and offered in several sizes but you need to read the fine print on the website to ascertain the correct size.
