Grey Group Training – A Note from Ramia

January 6th, 2013

Hello Grey Group fans and customers. Many of you are already aware of me moving away from Fayetteville but others are not. I wanted to take this time to let everyone know of my new role with Grey Group Training.

I started at GGT in April 2010 as a customer service rep. From there I became the Office Manager or as Eric likes to say, the Logistics Ninja. As of Jan 2013, my husband and I moved to Kansas City and my role in the GGT HQ was passed down to Scarlett and Abbey. I am extremely blessed to have obtained a full time position at the University of Kansas and am lucky enough to maintain a part time position with Grey Group as the Training Coordinator. I still have my email (info@greygrouptraining.com) and still have daily communication with the folks in Fayetteville. They are my family and some of the best friends I will ever have; plus they can’t get rid of me that easily.

When it comes to training, I’m the one who will be answering training questions, making the schedule, sending out the informational emails and certificates and will be the main contact between instructors and ranges. I may not be physically at Grey Group any more but I am still around to help in any way possible. Unfortunately, as far as phone, all I have is my personal cell. If you need anything and can’t reach me for whatever reason via email, please call the office at 910-323-4739 and they will forward me any messages.

Thank you everyone for your patience as we all make this transition of me leaving the office. I can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store for Grey Group and am super happy to still be apart of the dysfunctional family.

John Noveske Passed Away Last Night in Car Accident

January 5th, 2013

20130105-140530.jpg

The firearms industry lost a friend and pioneer last night when John Noveske perished in a single car accident near his home in Oregon. John was the founder of Noveske Rifleworks which is well known for innovation.

Noveske Rifleworks issued this statement :

Noveske Rifleworks would ask you to remember the passing of our founder, John Noveske, who died Friday, January 4th 2013 in an automobile accident.

John planned for all eventualities, and wanted to ensure any changes would be as seamless as possible for our customers, dealers, suppliers, employees and friends. While this will be a trying time, we do not expect a change in the day to day operations of Noveske Rifleworks. We would like to thank you for your support as we deal with our loss, and would ask that instead of flowers, you consider a donation to a cause we will announce at later date.

John was more than just the founder of Noveske Rifleworks, he was a loving husband and father, and caring friend.

Although I had only spoken to him once, he was a very pleasant and friendly man, well respected by peers and competitors alike. We offer our condolences to his family as they mourn his passing.

Rest in Peace.

ITS Tactical Releases New Tallboy ETA Trauma Kit

January 5th, 2013

ITS ETA Trauma Kit Pouch - Tallboy 01

The Tallboy ETA Trauma Kit and Pouch are the newest additions to the ITS Medical line up and have been in development for over a year with Haley Strategic and Zulu Nylon Gear. Taking the principles of their proven ETA Trauma Kit Pouch, they refined a few features and developed an additional horizontal mounting method.

ITS ETA Trauma Kit Pouch - Fatboy 01

The original ETA Trauma Kit Pouches, now dubbed the “Fatboy” share the refined sewn and color-matched webbing pull handle with removable red Velcro One-Wrap to denote medical components. With a simple pull on the handle, the pouch quickly filets open to provide immediate access to your medical components without delay.

ITS ETA Trauma Kit Pouch - Tallboy 14

The Tallboy ETA Trauma Kit Pouch moves from the wider three column PALS/MOLLE mounting of the Fatboy to a slim two-column mount, taking up no more real estate than a double mag pouch.

They’ve also re-packed their kits to fit in the new Tallboy configuration and you now have the option of ordering Fatboy or Tallboy Trauma Kits. While the new Tallboy vacuum sealed kits will fit in most double mag pouches, they highly recommend a dedicated pouch like the Tallboy ETA Trauma Kit Pouch, or ensuring a proper visual indicator for medical equipment is affixed.

ITS ETA Trauma Kit - Tallboy Fatboy Combo 01

Along those lines, all of the ETA Trauma Kit Pouches, both Fatboy and Tallboy, now come with a Med PVC Patch included. With the new Tallboy pouches, they’ve also included extra short MALICE clips in addition to the set of tall clips.

This ensures you can mount the new Tallboy pouch in any configuration you need to, both horizontally or vertically. MOLLE/PALS aside, you can also thread the short MALICE Clips in a horizontal configuration to easily affix the Tallboy pouch to a standard belt. A battle belt can be used for proper MOLLE/PALS mounting, but isn’t required.
