Monday, January 19th, 2015SOTech is proud to announce the debut of it’s Speed Clip Thigh Rig Quick Attachment System (Generation 2)(US patented). We are also proud to announce our development of a Taser Holster and Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) pouch with LAPD and LASD. The “Los Angeles Speed Clip” development resulted in agency-wide purchases by LAPD and LASD of Taser holsters and IFAK pouches across Los Angeles.
-Both agencies worked together in an effort to standardize their gear according to common requirements.
-Additional pouches including rifle magazine pouches are in use by these departments on the same platform.
-What is unique about SOTech’s Speed Clip configuration is that it can be quickly mounted on a thigh, duty belt, or MOLLE-compatible vest. SOTech recognizes the need for patrol officers to be light and nimble, while quickly Speed Clipping-on situation-dependent gear, like Tasers, rifle magazines and IFAKs.
-SOTech is also developing a third level of “Suit Up Gear” including vests and packs for deliberate preparation events such as civil disobedience control and warrant service.
-SOTech designed these pouches to be professional looking and compact keeping in mind they are in the public’s view.
-SOTech also has Speed Clip rigs for plain clothes agents and detectives, fire suppression, riot control, terrorism response, radios, and gas masks.
-SOTech began development of it’s Speed Clip line in 1997 as one of it’s first products. After decades of refinement on the streets of Los Angeles, we are proud to have been approached by two of the world’s most progressive law enforcement departments to create Generation II.

The 757 Performance Denim is not only a great looking pair of jeans but a platform designed to comfortably carry concealed items.
Features include; hidden pockets inside the front pockets for mobile phone, pocket knife, etc. and hidden pockets above the rear pockets that can be used to carry magazines or even a full size handgun.
At the waistband, SSP created a system that uses the inside of the waistband as a mounting platform for the 757 Multi-Pistol Holster. The “Tenacious Tabs” are a simple injection molded locking tab stitched onto a thin Biothane strap. Once inserted into the “Inner Belt Retention” slots, the tabs hooking action keeps the strap secure.
The 757 Multi-Pistol Holster is symmetrically designed allowing it to be mounted left or right side. With the help of their retention strap and “Tenacious Tabs”, the 757 Holster mounts directly into the “Inner Belt Retention” slots.

MultiCam Pattern Presents – Team DS6 at the 2014 Baja 1000 Race
Monday, January 19th, 2015MultiCam Pattern sponsored Team DS6 as they tackled the longest point-to-point race in North America, the Baja 1000. Team DS6 consists of former US SOF personnel and is backed by champion racer Ricky Johnson.
The bike used in the 2014 Baja 1000, and featured in this video, will be on display off at the Crye Precision booth during SHOT Show and will be auctioned off to raise money for SOF charities. You can check it out starting Tuesday. Here are some stats on the bike:

Monday, January 19th, 2015At tomorrow’s SHOT Show range day, SureFire will unveil the new WARCOMP.
Available in 5.56 and 7.62 versions for use with the SureFire SOCOM Suppressor. They are telling me that this is the first real flash hider that actually counters muzzle rise and still has great signature reduction. I can’t wait to see it for myself. They’ll also be demonstrating at their range Monday evening because at night is where they shine.
