Darley Defense Days 19 – Blue Force Gear Hammock

Tuesday, May 7th, 2019

The Hammock is the quick and easy way to carry a Tourniquet or other similar sized objects, on an existing belt or MOLLE mounted pouch. You can see it here, mounted below a triple Ten-Speed pouch on a PlateMINUS Carrier.

Here you can see that the slots allow the Hammock to be attached below another pouch so you’ll have a tourniquet with you. It reminds of the old M1910 dressing pouch.

Available in Black, Coyote or MultiCam.

Darley Defense Days 19 – Military Hardware

Tuesday, May 7th, 2019

The USB Nugget Power Adapter is one of the most practical pieces of kit you are going to run across. It allows you to harvest power from BA-5590 and BB-2590 batteries, with two USB ports (2.3 amps) as output. You can run lights and charge any number of devices with those left over batteries that don’t have enough juice left to use in a patrol.

Manufactured by Controlled Solutions, Military Hardware is their distributor. While the Nugget is available on Amazon, it’s actually cheaper to buy it direct from Military Hardware.

The full line of gear offered by Military Hardware is available for unit and agency orders through Darley Defense.

Darley Defense Days 19 – Maxim Defense PDX 300BLKOUT

Tuesday, May 7th, 2019

Maxim Defense is exhibiting their new 300BLKOUT version of the PDX.

Specs:
Barrel Length: 5.5”
Colors: Black or Arid
Overall Length: 18.75”
Weight (empty): 5 lbs 11 oz
Muzzle Device: Maxim Defense HATEBRAKE™ Muzzle Booster
Stock: Maxim Defense SCW™ stock system (SBR and Pistol Brace)
Trigger: ALG Combat Trigger (ACT)

The big thing with this version is that they’ve developed a new gas system in order to deal with both super and sub sonic cartridges without any manual adjustments. This video shows the PDX 300BLKOUT being loaded with alternating super and subsonic rounds. Not a hiccup.
