MARS-L is a weapon-mounted laser rangefinder (LRF) which is purpose-built for the operational end user, with a heavy focus on Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) when compared to existing systems. The MARS-L achieves this while maintaining required capability attributes, such as a long-range eye safe (1550nm) LRF, visible pointer, on- board ballistic computer (Applied Ballistics), and a large OLED display to allow the user to navigate the simple and intuitive user interface.
The compact and lightweight design (< 7 ounces, which is unmatched in the industry), is feature-rich and minimizes impact on the host weapon system and operator load. MARS-L is capable of successfully ranging a man-sized target out to 1,500 meters and offers the user additional rangefinding modes for specific mission scenarios. The integrated Bluetooth module allows the user to interface with external devices such as a Kestrel weather meter and/or external displays.

Beretta Holding Group Companies Temporarily Halt Participation In Large-Scale Indoor Events
Due to the sudden and dramatic increase of COVID-19 infections during the past 2 weeks, including many breakthrough cases, the Beretta Holding Group companies in the U.S.A. (Beretta U.S.A., Benelli U.S.A, Burris, and Steiner eOptics) have announced the immediate suspension of participation of their employees in large-scale indoor gatherings. The Modular Chest Rig System or MRCS is a pretty impressive undertaking by Tardigrade Tactical. They rolled out an entire system with components all at once, allowing the user to configure his kit in a bunch of different ways.
The MCRS include different types of PALS compatible fronts, all with build in compartments on the back, ranging from:
– “Classic” chest rig fronts (Infantry Chest Rig Front) with the width of 6 to 16 MOLLE/PALS columns.
– “Split fronts” (Recon Split Front) with interchangable buckles for connecting the two sides of the split fronts.
– Placard compatible chest rig fronts (Infantry Chest Rig Front – Plackart Ready) that allows the end-user to change between plackarts according to the task and hand.
The MCRS also includes a variety of harnesses and additional components to attach to any chest rig front, including slim, ergonomic and modular harnesses adoptable to both LE and MIL end-users.
The MCRS – Modular Chest Rig System is an expandable and adaptable system, and system as a whole will continue to grow in the future, and as we get feedback and input from our end-users, we will be able to include these when developing future components.
