FirstSpear Friday Focus: OEM Spotlight – F9 Gear

This week’s Friday Focus features another OEM Spotlight, F9 Gear (aka The Full 9). Working with FirstSpear, F9 Gear has developed a versatile and modular placard system known as, the Ammo Hub A1.

The Ammo Hub A1 is the ideal foundation to build out a kit that will suit exactly what you need, with absolutely nothing you don’t.

It is compatible with a huge variety of industry standard inserts, attachments, harnesses, pouches and accessories that can be customized into almost any imaginable PC placard or chest rig configuration. The Ammo Hub A1 naturally curves around the body as a chest rig and around plates as a PC placard.

Made in the US by FirstSpear using all American raw materials that meet or exceed military specifications.

Through smart use of laser cutting the body of the Hub is sewn from one single, continuous piece of FirstSpear 6/12 cordura laminate, with the Hub base and the side attachment loops being integral to that single piece of fabric.

Native to its design, the Ammo Hub A1 has the ability to be double stacked on top of itself using the integrated top buckle attachment straps.

FirstSpear Friday Focus: Tubes Accessories

FirstSpear incorporates Tubes into many of the pockets and attachments seen throughout the suite of products. In this week’s Friday Focus, we’re sharing a number of capabilities FirstSpear Tubes offers.

The FirstSpear Tubes Attachment Accessory revolutionizes pocket attachment. The hook backed Tube Attachment Accessory allows a 4” Male Tube to be placed in multiple locations, allowing attachment of any FirstSpear pouch with Tubes attachment.

The Shaw Concepts RAID Pouch V1 is an abdominal hanger style pouch that attaches to Plate Carriers and Chest Rigs. The RAID Pouch is the first of its kind to incorporate a FirstSpear Tubes® to quickly remove the pouch from the user’s body/kit for greater ease of use as well as for passing off. The pouch features its unique Tubes® attachment, a Hook & Loop VELCRO® flap, internal elastic bands for storage, clamshell opening w/YKK zippers, Elastic Tourniquet Sleeve on the bottom, front Loop Velcro Field for ID Patches, front Shockcord Lashing for Gloves & Tourniquets, and more. The RAID Pouch V1 is Berry Compliant and manufactured in the USA by First Spear, LLC.

The FirstSpear Tubes Belt Mount Accessory provides a modular option for Tubes Compatible pockets and pouches. Designed with a rear hook and loop closure system that secures the Belt Mount in place. It will work on belts that are up to 2″ in width.

The FirstSpear Tubes Dump Pouch has several great features. The Tube attachment allows for rapid attachment and detachment. A formed open top allows for easy dropping and reaching of gear and, when utilized, a drawstring closure keeps items secure.

The Tubes Gas Mask Pouch allows the user a quick and efficient attach and detach option. The wide opening featuring a secure SR Buckle is designed for rapid stowing and removal of a gas mask.

Giving Back To America’s Disabled Veterans

FirstSpear is proud to support Hunting with Heroes Wyoming – HwH WY. This organization honors disabled veterans by facilitating unique hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities.

HwH WY provides a supportive and healing community where disabled veterans can grow and enjoy the camaraderie they once knew. They were founded by veterans, for veterans. As a non-profit and charitable organization, HwH WY works with Wyoming state agencies, landowners and local volunteers to offer big game hunts and fishing outings designed to fit the special needs of each disabled veteran. 2022 marks their 10-year anniversary which now sees an average 275 hunts per year.
