Team Wendy exhibited a MultiCam Alpine cover for the EXFIL Ballistic Helmet. Made from a combination of mesh and Nylon/spandex stretch fabric material, this Berry compliant cover features loop patches to attach gear or patches to the outside of the helmet and feature slots for cable management.
Team Wendy introduced a new version of the M-216 Ski Helmet which doesn’t have the side rails. Otherwise, everything is the same; same fit, same protection.
This is more of a ski helmet than it’s SAR counterpart, but it also brings the price down below $200.
Features:
-A glass-reinforced polycarbonate shroud for attaching headlamps and cameras.
-A customized Boa® Fit System guarantees a precise fit adjustment with single handed quick release.
-Removable ear cups specifically designed to be comfortable while using in-ear communication systems and includes a pocket for drop-in audio device compatibility.
-14 Total Vents: Eight crown (adjustable), two front (passive open), four rear (fixed open) for maximum cooling during high exertion rescues.
-Eight adjustable crown vents with three positions (open, half open and closed) to accommodate both warm and cold conditions.
-Above-goggle vent channels draw air through the helmet to the rear exhaust ports to reduce goggle fogging.
-Integrated goggle strap retention.
It’s really a hard hat light but Sergeants Major everywhere will rejoice. Princeton-Tec‘s new EOS 360 is like a safety belt for your helmet.
The headlamp can be used alone or in conjunction with a band which is both reflective and features LEDs. Both the headlamp (high and low) and LED band include constant and strobe modes. Powered by 3 AAA batteries, the headlamp offers 165 lumens for up to 21.5 hours on high.
US Coast Guard Rescue Swimmers have completed a COTS buy of the Team Wendy Exfil LTP in Rescue Yellow. The helmet is EN 1385 verified for swift water rescue.
Agilite have released a new version of their Gen4 Helmet Cover for Ops Core Fast XP and FAST ST Models.
The Gen4 was previously only available for Ops Core Super High cut helmets like the FAST SF and Maritime but now they’ve released it for Ops Core’s classic and most common helmet cut as well. The cover gives the helmet advanced accessory management as well as protection that increases the helmet’s service life.
It can be bought directly from the Agilite website, through GSA or the Tailored Logistics Support program (TLS) program and comes in both a Berry Compliant and Made in Israel version.
New CloudLine™ System Available for Review at SHOT Show in January
CLEVELAND, OH (Dec. 17, 2019) – Cleveland-based Team Wendy®, a leading provider of exceptional head protection systems, announced today the immediate availability of the CloudLine™ System, a new drop-in helmet liner designed for exceptional comfort while upholding the safety standards operators have come to expect from the brand.
The liner, named CloudLine™ for its unique comfort grade, features the softest Team Wendy patented Zorbium® foam to-date, used in strategically placed hexagon-shaped comfort pads designed to prevent hot spots while maintaining protection. Furthermore, the exceptionally comfortable liner is optimized for the widest range of ground combat helmets on the market. Previous Team Wendy drop-in liners were developed around specs of the standard ACH/ECH helmets, while CloudLine is designed to fit a broader range of helmets, including those used throughout special operations communities.
“This liner is designed to feel as comfortable and effortless as a baseball cap,” said Team Wendy CEO Jose Rizo-Patron. “The CloudLine System furthers Team Wendy’s position as the market leader in drop-in helmet systems, combining the best in comfort and protection with the ability to customize fit.”
The system includes:
• Three impact liner pads (front, crown, rear)
• Four thick hexagon-shaped Cloud pads
• Seven soft comfort pads in various shapes and sizes
• Ten Velcro® brand hook disks
CloudLine retails for $109.99 and is available for purchase on TeamWendy.com and through authorized Team Wendy dealers.
CloudLine exceeds ACH blunt impact requirements (AR/PD 10-02) and is compatible with nearly all standard ground combat helmets, though some models may also require a CAM FIT™ Retention System retrofit in order for the CloudLine System to fit properly.
Attendees of the upcoming SHOT Show convention in Las Vegas will be among the first to experience the new liner. The trade show, running from Jan. 21 through Jan. 24 at the Sands Expo Center, draws more than 60,000 people each year across a myriad of communities, including military, law enforcement and SAR professionals.
Media and patrons are invited to try out the CloudLine system. Team Wendy will be located at booth 8311 on level one.
