B&T USA Announces Agreement with B&T AG – Swiss to Establish New Company in US

Thursday, June 25th, 2026

For the past several months B&T USA and B&T AG which is located in Switzerland, have been in a legal battle over the future of the B&T trademark in the United States.

Today, B&T USA announced that they had reached an agreement. It was also posted to the B&T AG website.

It reads:

Thun, Switzerland / Herriman, Utah – B&T AG and B&T USA have reached a comprehensive settlement resolving all outstanding disputes between the parties. All pending litigation will be dismissed.

The settlement establishes a time-limited framework for continued cooperation and allows both organizations to focus on supporting customers, dealers, and the B&T brand.

Both parties are pleased to put these matters behind them and remain committed to delivering the quality, service, and supports customers expect from B&T .

Congratulations would seem to be in order. However, B&T AG has also released this statement:

B&T AG Regains Full Control of the B&T Brand in the United States

B&T AG has reached a comprehensive settlement, resolving all outstanding disputes between the parties. As part of this agreement, all pending litigation will be dismissed, enabling both parties to move forward under a clearly defined transition framework.

Now that the legal matters have been resolved and the U.S. trademarks are back under the control of B&T AG, we are pleased to announce that a new, wholly Swiss-owned U.S. operation will be established later this year. This is an exciting new chapter for B&T in the United States, ensuring that customers will again experience the Swiss engineering, uncompromising craftsmanship and premium service that define B&T.

We are currently establishing the necessary infrastructure, licenses, and team in the United States to provide a reliable supply chain, customer support, and direct access to authentic, Swiss-made firearms and accessories. We are also looking forward to introducing our range of Swiss suppressor designs to the US market, while continuing to support existing B&T platforms.

Having listened carefully to feedback from the US market, we remain fully committed to delivering the quality, service, and long-term customer support that our customers have come to expect from B&T. The establishment of this Swiss-owned operation reflects our commitment to safeguarding the brand’s integrity and maintaining the highest service standards for years to come.

If you would like to be part of this exciting new chapter, please stay tuned for updates on our website.

We look forward to sharing more with you soon.

This begs the question of what the agreement actually looks like considering B&T AG is establishing a new US footprint which we understand will be named B&T Swiss and what that means for B&T USA.

Army and Industry Align on Common Data Baseline, as Next Generation Command and Control Moves from Prototyping to Delivery

Thursday, June 25th, 2026

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Army announced today it has established the Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) common data layer baseline, following NGC2 operational validations at the 4th Infantry Division Ivy Sting-Ivy Mass series and 25th Infantry Division Lightning Surge events.

Anduril Industries will be responsible for leading the common data baseline initiative. They will remain partnered with Palantir to provide an edge-to-cloud data mesh via Anduril’s Lattice and Palantir’s Foundry along with associated software deployment tools. They will also partner with Raft for NGC2 data and services registries, data transformation tools, and data federation via Raft Data Platform.

With this decision, the 4th Infantry Division and 25th Infantry Division will quickly begin to implement NGC2 common components through their respective operational implementation leads as they continue through operational training and campaign exercises at Project Convergence Capstone 6 and Lightning Surge events.

“We are already moving out with the converged data layer architecture,” said Joseph Welch, portfolio acquisition executive for Command and Control (C2)/Counter C2. “Our vendor partners have demonstrated great teamwork and flexibility in helping us establish this baseline and set the groundwork for rapid scaling.”

Vendor Teaming

Anduril Industries will continue to serve as lead for 4th ID operational implementation of the “full stack” of NGC2 hardware and software, with Lockheed Martin continuing to lead the “full stack” operational implementation at 25th ID. These team leads leverage numerous other companies to ensure each division has a tailored “full stack” technology ecosystem, comprised of C2 applications, data, and the underlying infrastructure, network and transport solutions that connect Soldiers on the battlefield, even in contested and denied environments.

Operational implementation leads are also responsible for partnering with units to meet commander priorities by tailoring specific applications, algorithms and hardware relevant to their operational missions and theaters, such as new app development, incorporation of edge compute devices, integration of private 5G and other communications solutions, and fusion of electromagnetic spectrum effectors.

Operational Validation

The Army’s establishment of a common data layer is informed by ten months of feedback and data from operational training events with the 4th ID and 25th ID, where industry formed teams led by Anduril Industries and Lockheed Martin, respectively, have teamed with commanders and Soldiers on the ground to rapidly scale and improve NGC2 capabilities.

Most recently, in May 2026, the 4th ID’s Ivy Mass exercise stressed every element of NGC2 at division scale across the expanse of Fort Carson and Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site, Colorado, including fighting through cyber and electromagnetic attacks based on real-world threats. Also in May, the 25th ID conducted Lightning Surge 3 during Exercise Balikatan 2026 demonstrated, simultaneously from Hawaii, the continental United States and the Philippines, the integration of sensors, fires systems and airspace management through a unified data platform providing a real-time view of the battlefield across the Indo-Pacific.

Looking ahead, Project Convergence-Capstone 6, or PC-C6 in July 2026 will serve as the culminating event for a division-scale force-on-force NGC2 validation at the National Training Center, allowing the Army to rapidly advance from prototyping to scaling product delivery.

“This is a major step forward as NGC2 evolves into a phase of continuous delivery and we provide this capability at the speed of relevance,” said Brig. Gen. Shane Taylor, capability program executive for Command and Control Information Network, or CPE C2IN. “We continue to encourage industry self-teaming and collaboration to adjust capabilities to commander priorities, operational needs and emerging technologies.”

Alpine Eagle and Origin Robotics Partner to Strengthen European Drone Defence Capabilities

Monday, June 22nd, 2026
  • Alpine Eagle and Origin Robotics partner to integrate the BLAZE interceptor into Sentinel, creating a layered sensor-to-effector drone defence architecture
  • The companies are announcing their partnership and showcasing their capabilities during Eurosatory 2026 in Paris.
  • The German and Latvian defence innovators plan local manufacturing and future deployments in Germany

Paris, France, 16th June 2026: Alpine Eagle, the European counter-drone defence technology company, and Origin Robotics, the Latvian developer of autonomous unmanned aerial weapons systems, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to combine Origin Robotics’ BLAZE interceptor with Alpine Eagle’s Sentinel architecture, creating a layered sensor-to-effector counter-drone capability.

The agreement marks a significant step in Alpine Eagle’s strategy to build the next generation of air defence, connecting sensing, decision-making and interception into a single layered network. It also reflects a broader shift towards integrated air-defence architectures that combine sensors, command-and-control and multiple interception layers into a single operational system.

Alpine Eagle’s Sentinel architecture combines airborne and ground-based radar with distributed sensor networks and Sentinel-OS, the company’s software backbone that unifies sensors, platforms, and effectors into an integrated network. Together, these capabilities provide earlier detection, improved situational awareness and more time for operators and warfighters to make informed decisions in complex environments. The integration of BLAZE, a radar-guided autonomous interceptor designed to defeat drones and loitering munitions, adds a further interception layer, strengthening Sentinel’s ability to coordinate detection, decision-making and response through its system-of-systems approach.

European governments are accelerating investment in counter-drone capability following lessons from Ukraine and recent conflicts in the Middle East, where large-scale drone attacks have demonstrated the need for earlier detection, layered defence and more cost-effective interception.

Under the agreement, the companies will initially focus on technical integration, customer demonstrations and operational validation, while establishing a pathway towards future local manufacturing of BLAZE in Germany.

Jan-Hendrik Boelens, co-founder and CEO of Alpine Eagle, said: “Drone warfare is forcing militaries to rethink how they protect airspace. The challenge is to bring detection, tracking, and interception together into an integrated system that can respond quickly and scale with the threat. Integrating BLAZE into Sentinel expands our sensor-to-effector architecture and gives customers another effective layer within a broader counter-drone network.”

Agris Kipurs, co-founder and CEO of Origin Robotics, said: “The future of drone defence depends on combining the right sensors, software and effectors. No single system can solve the challenge alone. By integrating BLAZE into Sentinel, we are bringing together complementary capabilities that help customers detect threats earlier and respond more effectively.”

The partnership builds on successful initial integration activities between the two companies and reflects a growing trend towards European defence technology companies combining specialised capabilities into integrated systems that can be deployed, adapted and scaled more rapidly than traditional programmes. By strengthening interoperability between complementary technologies, the collaboration supports the development of a more resilient European defence industrial base and the ability to scale production as demand grows.

Alpine Eagle will be exhibiting at Eurosatory 2026 and can be found in Hall 5b, booth D414. Origin Robotics will be in Hall 5b, booth C423.

STORM Signs Partnership Agreement with ISTEC and Launches RADS UniCAGE Universal Ring Mount

Friday, June 19th, 2026

At Eurosatory 2026, STORM Adapt Group AS signs a Rapid Adapt and Deploy System (RADS) application partnership agreement with ISTEC Services Limited, and launches the new RADS UniCAGE Universal Ring Mount. This new system is on display, fitted to a Ford Super Duty pickup, on the RMA Stand, Hall 4 E193.

This new addition to the STORM RADS lineup, based on the UniCAGE and integrated with ISTECs Universal Ring Mount, combines the pickup agnostic utility of RADS UniCAGE with the ability to mount various crew-served weapon systems, such as HMG, MMG and GPMG, to ISTEC’s universal ring mount without the need for permanent modification to the vehicle. In addition, to increase flexibility, the weapon system can be removed by a single operator and deployed away from the vehicle in a dismounted role. The integrated system is being qualified to the same firing-stability and safety requirements expected of a fixed mount, so the weapon platform remains fully removable without compromising accuracy or safety.

STORM Adapt Group AS is a Norwegian company that develops RADS, which is an open, modular, dual-use vehicle integration architecture for civil and defence use. RADS provides a fast, cost- effective and standardised way to integrate technology and equipment onto various pickup vehicles.

Built around the patented DockLock mounting system and the ArxLock external attachment rail, it lets a platform be reconfigured for changing roles and gives operators a new way to deploy capability and manage fleet logistics across a vehicle’s lifecycle.

ISTEC Services Ltd is a British company with 37 years of operationally proven experience in the design and manufacture of weapon integration solutions across the land, sea and air domains, including Universal Gun Mounts, Protected Weapon Stations and ring mount systems for 5.56mm, 7.62mm, 12.7mm and 40mm weapons. Platform and weapon agnostic, ISTEC mounts have been operationally proven on vehicles such as WMIK, Mastiff, Husky and Jackal, are fitted to Royal Navy vessels and most recently on the USAF’s Grey Wolf helicopter.

Andreas Rist EVP and Founder of STORM said, “This partnership is a perfect demonstration of engineering expertise being combined to increase the benefit to customers. The STORM RADS capability provides maximum utility and flexibility to the end user by being modular and platform agnostic, without the need for permanent modifications. It maintains a vehicle’s maximum potential use cases from transport, logistics, medical or in this instance as a weapon station. This aligns perfectly with ISTECs own ethos of being platform and weapon agnostic, and together, the RADS UniCAGE Universal Ring Mount provides the user with a supremely adaptable weapons station to enhance physical protection and increase firepower, both fitted to a vehicle or in the dismounted role.”

Jamie Armstrong, Chief Design Engineer ISTEC said, “RADS is an innovative engineering solution giving our mounts a unique standardised, vehicle-agnostic way to be fitted, moved and deployed in the dismounted role, without permanent vehicle modification. A single operator can drop a weapon platform at an observation post in the morning, then collect it and re-arm a different vehicle in the afternoon. STORM has built a smart, open platform, for enhancing the utility of pick-up trucks and partnering with them allows our weapon integration to be fitted to multiple vehicle types.”
