The ever popular CCW 12 Gauge Tactical Stripper is not only now available with a MultiCam (and about any other color/pattern you can imagine) cover but they’ve also introduced plain and basket weave leatherette covers for LE. The short versions hold 4 and the a standard versions accommodate 6 12 gauge shells. Additionally, the carriers are offered with the UM-84 style ELS or tek lok attachments.

TUFF Products has introduced the EX-Feed Cobra 1-1/2″ Ranger Belt in order to offer a belt with Cobra buckle that you can fit through your belt loops.
Made from double layer SCUBA belt webbing with a polymer insert, it’s a rigid belt suitable for pistol carry. They use a narrower buckle Pythian you usually see and the fixed end of the belt, tucks behind the running end with a new, patent pending design to tuck the narrower adjustment webbing out of the way. Spartan Village is currently testing a new counterweight pouch. Although details are scarce, it has been mentioned that the XCP-01 capable of taking different sized weight bags and can securely mount a MS2000 or similar strobe.
Marz Tactical has introduced a headrest harness for their Multi-Mode IFAK, unveiled last year here at SOMA. It allows you to mount the rear of a headrest where it is easily accessible. The buckle and strapping system keeps it secure yet allows deployment in an instant.
Marz has also made a change to the interior of the Multi-Mode IFAK. Based on user feedback, the horizontal elastic strap has been replaced with a flat pocket.
The new Survival Sling from S.O Tech is a multipurpose item that does 4 things. It’s a 4000 lbs breaking strength strap that can be used as a 2-PT rifle sling. It can also be used as a load carriage and drag strap as well as an extraction harness. To me, the most interesting use is to carry litters, offering a hand free solution for litter bearers.
In a pinch, it can also be used as a belt or combined with other Survival Slings to make a longer rope.

S.O. Tech has launched the new Basic Issue Line. The premise behind the Basic Issue Line is to offer a barebones design approach: Simple, Strong, Economical, and US Made. It’s inexpensive and designed to wear like iron in a similar to the gear you were issued in basic training. It’s not fancy but it gets the job done. Duty Go Bag

Hill People Gear has been kind of quiet for awhile now but earlier today they gave us a sneak peek of a few upcoming items: the Terrainsert, Attaché and Medium GP Pocket. The Tarainsert is a combination framesheet / organization panel for the Tarahumara pack and made from HDPE that is slathered in FirstSpear 6/12 goodness.
The Attache is a compression panel / attache case that can attach to the back of an Umlindi or used in stand alone mode. This 6/12 lined bag will accept up to an 11″x16″ laptop as well as accept Velcro backed pouches or holsters.
Based on the FirstSpear Medium GP Pocket, this HPG version features a 6/9 attachment along with a full-width slot pocket on the inside rear, and two half-width slot pockets on the inside front.

Mission Spec is happy to announce the release of their new plate carrier. The Essentials Only Carrier (EOC) is a light weight (23 ounces), low profile solution for those seeking a minimalistically designed armor carrier.
The EOC was designed to fit two medium sized shooters cut SAPI armor plates. The 1000 Denier Cordura constructed carrier utilizes ITW Nexus acetal polymer buckles. All components are nIR treated and/or compliant (excluding black). All design, testing, and manufacturing was performed in the United States.
The rear plate bag can be independently raised to offer better rear armor protection to a wider range of users. Patterned (ie: MultiCam) EOCs include pattern matching PALS webbing, side straps, and outward facing loop. Spacer (air) mesh faces the user on both the front and rear to help wick moister away while also improving airflow. The low profile design allows the EOC to be concealed under a light jacket for undercover uses.
The EOC is fully compatible with DKX Max III Polyethylene armor (shooters cut) available at MissionSpec.com.
To compliment the release of the EOC, Mission Spec has also released their Shoulder Savers. Designed specifically to be used with the EOC however the Shoulder Savers can be used with nearly any plate carrier that utilizes 2″ wide (or less) shoulder straps. Communication cables and hydration tubes can also be routed and secured via the Shoulder Savers.
Both the EOC and Shoulder Savers were scheduled to be released in Black, Coyote, and MultiCam. However, an unforeseen shipping mishap resulted in the Coyote being lost. At release, Black and MultiCam are ready to ship immediately with the Coyote counterpart approximately one week from completing production. Future patterns to be released; Kryptek and M81 Woodland.
