This is Tracer Tactical’s new Rear Plate Bag which is compatible with chest rig H-Harnesses. Often, Rhodesian rigs have accommodations for a front plate, but nothing for the rear. This alleviates that gap.

Lindnerhof-Taktik Rolled Out 3 New Products for Making War-Belts Complete—MX463 Dump Pouch Small, MX301 Medic Pouch Horizontal, LT686 Inner Belt

Saturday, August 20th, 2022

LENGGRIES, GERMANY (18 August 2022)—Lindnerhof-Taktik, GmbH, today began making available for purchase a trio of items for more completely configuring the war belts worn by tactical operators.

The three new items are the MX463 Dump Pouch Small, MX301 Medic Pouch Horizontal, and the LT686 Inner Belt.

The lightweight, space-saving MX463 Dump Pouch Small is designed to fit over the wearer’s magazine pouch so that magazine changes can be performed more agilely and—as a result— faster.

The MX301 Medic Pouch Horizontal is a partitioned, highly customisable, fast-opening bag for carrying a well-organised set of first-aid supplies.

The new LT686 Inner Belt is a super-lightweight and stiffened inner belt that gives users an array of options for their mission load-out.

“Each of these new products is innovative in its own way, but all three have stayed true to the Lindnerhof creed—and that is ‘Keep It Light, Keep It Fast,’” said Lindnerhof-Taktik Chief Executive Officer Jakob Kolbeck.

“Take, for example, our new MX463 Dump Pouch Small—a real game-changer that’s made from our innovative, advanced technology MX multiaxial laminate material,” Kolbeck continued. “Among the special features of this dump pouch is its mesh bottom which stops water from accumulating and stagnating inside. Additionally, the dump pouch has a stiffened opening so that, no matter the situation the user is in at any given moment, it’s not going to get in the way.”

Kolbeck pointed out that the MX463 Dump Pouch Small lacks PALS straps. “That might at first glance seem like a shortcoming, but it’s not because in the back are laser-cut slots that allow the pouch to be attached either by use of classic MALICE clips and anything similar or by using a the PALS straps of a common mag pouch, to loop the MX463 in between, which is a real space- saver.”

The MX463 Dump Pouch Small is intended to be used in combination with a traditional magazine pouch. Said Kolbeck, “It makes sense to pair them; they naturally complement each other because of usage and movement. So, for us, it was a given that we would create a dump

pouch capable of being directly integrated with a magazine pouch. Specifically, the MX463 Dump Pouch Small is meant to be positioned exactly where the magazine pouch is placed, which eliminates the need for the user to engage in repositioning. And, since there’s no repositioning necessary, the user is able to more nimbly handle and more rapidly change magazines.”

Kolbeck said the MX463 Dump Pouch Small is fully compatible with the other two items that Lindnerhof-Taktik rolled out today.

“We are very confident that users of our new MX301 Medic Pouch will appreciate the way it improves access to carried first-aid supplies,” he said. Basically, the bag is a two-part IFAK, consisting of an inlay and a cover. The cover can be fixed via a classic PALS/MOLLE setup or by using special slots in the back to loop it onto a belt. The inlay is fixed via Velcro® points in the cover.

“Our thinking was that, since users need free and fast anytime-access to their IFAK, the bag should be designed to offer release option that would be equally easy for right- and left-handed operators to use with just a single free hand.”

Kolbeck explained that the inlay of the MX301 Medic Pouch can be readily pulled out in order to create a configurable interior space for organising medic gear to suit user preferences. “Elastic loops and big compartments are available for this purpose,” he said. “At the top and bottom of the cover, elastic straps let users compress and secure the inlay, which then makes it possible to stow tourniquets. Also, on the front is a place for patches so that users can label their pouch and instantly see that it’s an IFAK.”

The third new item included in today’s launch, the LT686 Inner belt, is described by Kolbeck as ultra-low weight and slim. “We’ve stiffened it so that it serves as a stable base onto which users can confidently attach their pouches and other essentials,” he said. “Other important features include an easy-to-operate push-in buckle and looped attachment surfaces. It can be used with our MX560 Modular Belt Grid to create a pure modular belt for missions where a rappel belt isn’t needed.”

High Speed Gear Announces the ReFlex Hanger IFAK System

Monday, August 15th, 2022

SWANSBORO, N.C. – Aug. 15, 2022 – High Speed Gear® has introduced the ReFlex™ Hanger IFAK System into their line of ReFlex™ IFAK products.

The ReFlex™ IFAK was developed with direct input from active-duty medical personnel. It’s a two-piece system, med roll and hanger carrier, that is designed to attach directly to the hook and loop of a plate carrier to carry organized medical supplies with ambidextrous accessibility. The system, constructed primarily with heavy-duty nylon laminate, allows rapid deployment of medical supplies and was designed around the medical supplies included in the U.S. Army-issued IFAK. The ReFlex™ Hanger and ReFlex™ Med Roll can be purchased together or separately.

The ReFlex™ Hanger is the fourth IFAK accessory added to HSGI’s ReFlex IFAK product line up. Also included is the ReFlex™ IFAK system, ReFlex™ Vehicle Mount, and ReFlex™ Leg Rig. The ReFlex™ Hanger was field tested by U.S. Army Special Forces operators prior to its release. This new medical pouch fills the gap for those who use drop-down/hanger style pouches to carry their medical equipment under the front of their plate carriers and chest rigs.

“The ReFlex™ IFAK System is one of those products that continue to develop into more variations that suit our end users’ needs.” Said Bill Babboni, HSGI’s chief operating officer. “The ‘Hanger’ simply allows users another way to carry their life-saving medical equipment that may be more tailored to how they go to business.”

The ReFlex™ Hanger IFAK System is available for purchase on the High Speed Gear® website at ReFlex™ Hanger.

Uncharted Supply Co – The Park Pack

Sunday, August 14th, 2022

One of the other items I saw from Uncharted Supply Co during last week’s The Big Gear Show in Park City was The Park Pack. This waist pack features a padded hip belt and a waterproof main compartment made from seam sealed 600D Tarpaulin with a YKK water-resistant zipper.

The Park Pack comes outfitted with dual PALS compatible water bottle holsters. These can be removed for other kit if desired.

There’s ample room (2.8 liters) inside for the gear you want to keep close at hand. In these photos you can see it is paired with the Triage Kit which is stocked with first-aid and gear repair items.

The Park Pack is available on Green, Grey, or Black at unchartedsupplyco.com/products/park-pack.

XMOD System

Saturday, August 13th, 2022

The XMOD System is a modular, high-speed, magazine carrier and storage solution released by XMG this past January at SHOT Show. XMOD stands for X-tra Mag On Demand. The XMOD System is not your conventional magazine carrier, and it certainly raises some eyebrows. When you first see it in action, you’ll pause, you’ll have questions, you may have some mixed feelings and some of you will be polarized. Some of you will dismiss it, until you realize that its full capabilities only stop with your own creativity.

Evan Brozda, inventor, and co-founder of XMG, describes it best: “A ‘Pez-Dispenser’ for your M4/AR15 Mags. Sure, it looks like a big, bulky box, but the R&D put into this incorporated a lot of subtle design features. People are polarized with their first impression of the XMOD System. You either love it or hate it. I love seeing how a substantial number of people who are initially put off by the XMOD System hit a certain tipping point, where a conversion happens. We call it ‘the switch.’ It’s the point where their mind opens to the possibilities and capabilities that our “Pez-dispenser” box gives them. That’s where the magic happens. And everyone has their own way that they use it.”

Simply put, the XMOD System is a spring-loaded magazine carrier with a quick attach/detach mounting system. The mount is called the ‘Delta Plate’. The mag dispenser part is called the ‘XpaK’. You can mount a Delta Plate pretty much anywhere you want to keep your mags. For instance, you can mount it in your safe, in your vehicle, on MOLLE-adaptable gear (i.e., a plate carrier or bag), on a raptor, helicopter, ATV, amphibious assault vehicle, etc. The XpaK docks into the Delta Plate with an audible click and it’s locked in. Want to move it or reorient its position to a 3, 6, 9 or 12 o’clock position on the mount? There’s a thumb retention button to release the auto aligning/locking mechanism that holds the XpaK in place.

The idea behind the XMOD System is subtle and creative: it’s a way to keep your mags ready to go at a moment’s notice for dealing with threats when your first mag runs dry or simply a way to keep your mags stored and grab one when you need it. It’s truly a user-definable system, you choose how and where to use it. Mags are readily available and there’s many mounting options based off your needs. Vehicular applications are certainly the first application that comes to mind. Use vehicles resources FIRST before depleting the mags on your person. Then think about hardened security locations: guard posts, tactical retreat positions, armories, safes, a squad vehicle trunk, or Bearcat, etc. The options here are endless based off your MOS, mission/duty requirements or personal preference. Then there’s the on-body option… If you look at some of the videos that XMG has on their YouTube Page, you can consistently reload mag after mag in under 2 seconds. The XpaK can hold 6 polymer mags or 7 GI/STANAG mags.

The XMOD System was designed in part as a solution to help non-Special Forces military members to consistently reload their rifle under battlefield stress and still maintain their situational awareness. Most military personnel are only allotted one day on the range and 550 rounds to hone their marksmanship skills. “For the non-SF or non-forward operating units that only get one day on the range, get deployed and potentially end up in a firefight, they just don’t have the proficiency and battlefield experience to be as lethal as possible in combat. That is not OK,” said Evan Brozda. “When it comes to a life-or-death situation, we look at certain aspects of the problems encountered from different angles, some that people don’t even know exist and for others, these are non-issues because they train a lot. We’re out to make our warfighters more lethal by enhancing their capabilities and efficacy and hopefully, save their lives when it comes down to those life-or-death situations.”

XMG is currently releasing the next few components of the XMOD System called the ”4stiX” and “6stix.” They are two different-sized MOLLE panels that also integrate into the quick attach/detach Delta Plate mount and gives you the ability to attach your own MOLLE gear and integrate it into the XMOD System. Maybe they’ll change their definition to “Xtra-Modular” since now, pretty much any gear can be used with the XMOD System. Check out their product teaser video on their YouTube page. Currently, only pre-orders are available on their website for the 4stiX and 6stiX components, where you can install your own MOLLE gear/pouches/IFAKs or whatever else you want, into their QD MOLLE system and customize your own XMOD System.

Go check out their website at www.XMODgear.com and place your pre-order.
