I was fortunate to run into the Frag Out team during Milipol which is a major focus of this excellent issue. I really appreciate what these guys are doing. Check it out.
This might look like a collection of Legos to you, but it turns out this is a great way to design a board game according to ‘Black Powder, Red Earth‘ creator Jon Chang because you can quickly reconfigure the board as you come up with new ideas. In this case, it’s the BPRE board game , in beta. They plan to begin limited testing in the NYC area in March with a possible future crowdfunding campaign. If this is as much fun as the graphic novels, I’m in. Next up, the video game.
‘The Wild Geese’ was one of my favorite movies growing up. Lots of action. If you haven’t seen it, here’s your chance.
Thanks Tim O!

It’s a quick read but gives you a good idea of what this event, as well as similar ones, is like.
The book is available from Amazon.

Last year, we featured the visual concept video ‘End of Negotiation’ by Blur Media, in association with HHK (Hestehovkompaniet). They’ve released another video in the same vein, again in collaboration with HHK. Before anyone mentions it, yes, HHK are airsofters. However, they’re also all former or current soldiers, and the cinematography is cool, so don’t let that detract from the video.
