Milipol 25 – Heathcoat Graphene+

Thursday, November 20th, 2025

Heathcoat is a fabric producer in the UK. Their Graphene+ is manufactured by an additive process which impregnates a Graphene grid to the back of the fabric. This facilitates the dissipation of heat over 50% faster than fabric which is not treated.

As you can imagine, there is interest in adding this process for clothing worn by air and ground crews as Graphese is inherently FR and the process adds no additional vulnerability to flame. Seen here is MTP printed fabric with a weight of 180g. The process only adds another 40 g per square meter.

Milipol 25 – MP-SEC & Ghost Robotics

Thursday, November 20th, 2025

Ghost Robotics has a tight relationship with MP-SEC in France. Not only does MP-SEC represent the Vision 60 Quadraped Unmanned Ground System and accessories, they also work with clients to outfit the Vision 60 to fill their requirements.

Often referred to colloquially as a “Robot Dog” the Vision 60 is well known to SSD readers for its ability to integrate a wide variety of lethal and sensor packages.

For example, seen above is Ghost Robotics’ new Manipulator Arm. Extendable up to 1 meter, the arm offers seamless integration with 6 Degrees of Freedom. The Vision 60 to the rear is outfitted with a sensor appliqué manufactured in-house at MP-SEC. Customizable for each user need, this version incorporates stereo thermal cameras and illuminator along with a LIDAR package. Manufactured from 6961 T6 aluminum, the sensor package is IP67 rated like the Vision 60 it is mounted to.

They’ve also integrated a system which allows the Vision 60 to carry and deploy two ReconRobotics Throwbots to get a look into tighter spaces.

Milipol 25 – B&T GL-06 Compact Grenade Launcher

Wednesday, November 19th, 2025

B&T has just introduced a Compact version of their GL-06 less lethal grenade launcher with a 200mm length barrel compared to the standard length barrel of 280mm. The shorter length only has a velocity loss of 1m/sec making it negligible.

It also includes a new mount for the Aimpoint red dot optic which makes elevation selection easy.

It also features an integrated backup iron sight.

In the photo above you can see just how short the Command actually is, and seen below, how easily the telescoping stock is deployed with a simple pull, offering a stable firing platform.

Coming soon is a Compact version of the GL-25 launcher for HE and other lethal 40mm munitions. It too will feature a 200mm length barrel.

Milipol 25 – Direct Action Mortar Pack

Wednesday, November 19th, 2025

I got to check out Direct Action‘s Mortar Pack, designed to carry 10 mortar bombs nested in their container. Rather than a soft sided pack, the outside is reinforced to offer additional protection for the contents.

The interior is covered in PALS so it can accommodate other sensitive items like electronics or drones.

The suspension and straps are well padded for the added weight of mortar bombs.

Milipol 25 – MSA Gallet TC 901

Wednesday, November 19th, 2025

MSA unveiled the new TC 901 helmet by Gallet at Milipol in Paris, France. This new helmet design is made from Polyethylene and rated for 9mm and frag protection. Offered in three sizes, Small, Medium, and Large, the TC 901 is modular and scalable.

Additionally, the helmet can easily be disassembled by removing a single bolt at the rear of the ARCH, which loosens the ARCH first and then the edge molding. You will recognize the ARCH rail system from the TC 800 series helmet as well as the ratchet headband. The new liner system is removed by unclipping the chinstrap from its upper sockets within the helmet.

Seen below are concepts of future helmet accessories for the TC 901.

Adept Armor Introduces the Archon Level IV Plate

Monday, November 17th, 2025

Developed in response to European military requirements, the Archon Plate will debut at Milipol Paris 2025 in Booth 5 G 601, Nov. 18 – 21, 2025, at Paris Nord Villepinte.

Denison, TX. (November 2025) – Adept Armor, pioneers in next-gen protective solutions, is pleased to introduce the Archon Level IV Plate. Developed in response to European military requirements, the Archon represents the ideal balance between protection, weight, and comfort for today’s combat scenarios. Weighing in at just 5.75 lbs. and measuring 10 x 12” at a 1” thickness, the Archon delivers comprehensive protection from both the .30-06 M2 AP and modern intermediate-caliber AP threats while maintaining an exceptionally light weight. Adept Armor will debut the Archon Plate at Milipol Paris 2025, taking place Nov. 18 – 21, 2025, at Paris Nord Villepinte, where the company will exhibit at Booth 5 G 601.

While peer adversaries increasingly field advanced tungsten-cored threats such as 5.45x39mm 7N24, 7N39, and next-generation 5.8mm AP rounds, most Level IV plates were designed around yesterday’s threats. The Archon is a culmination of focused engineering, maximizing protection from the threats one is most likely to face, while keeping weight at the absolute minimum. It is built for those who need assured protection from 5.56mm, 5.45mm, and 5.8mm tungsten-cored threats without the weight penalty of heavy-duty Level IV+ plates like the Colossus.

“By optimizing for intermediate-caliber tungsten threats rather than over-engineering for every possible threat, we’ve created a plate that delivers exactly what modern warfighters need. Nothing more, nothing less,” said Jake Ganor, President of Adept Armor.

The Archon features a SiC-TiB2 composite strike face, a next-gen ceramic material developed specifically to counter tungsten-cored small arms threats. It features a next-gen UHMWPE composite backer with an integrated, premium Ivoryguard thermoplastic foam on the body side for exceptional comfort and trauma reduction. The resilient thermoplastic foam is also included in the molded padding on the strike-face for practical drop and impact protection. Featuring a multi-curve design for comfort and a better form fit, the Archon has a full-sized strike face with full edge-to-edge ceramic coverage.

The Adept Armor Archon plate is multi-hit capable against the following:
