Miramar, Fla. (December 2019) – Tasmanian Tiger®, a tactical nylon line of products distributed exclusively for the US market by Proforce Equipment, Inc., proudly announce the addition of MultiCam Black™ packs, bags, pouches and accessories to complement their line of product for law enforcement.
The MultiCam Black camouflage pattern was designed to complement an LEO’s existing gear while operating in high-risk scenarios. The design is based on traditional combat camo and the interplay of lighting conditions frequently found in more urban settings.
The new MultiCam Black products include several packs. The Tasmanian Tiger’s TT Essential Pack L MK II is an adjustable daypack with a MOLLE system on the front and sides for additional pouches and is hydration system compatible. The TT Mission Pack MKII is a 37-litre combat style backpack with a cut MOLLE system, a padded back carrying system, several compartments and pockets, and adjustable for a hydration system, radio and a personalized fit for all-day comfort while carrying. Another MultiCam Black combat style backpack is the TT Modular Pack 30 with a lid pocket laser-cut MOLLE on the front and sides. Very versatile, the Modular Pack 30 features plenty of options to carry gear and has a hook and loop weapon holster included. The final MultiCam Black TT backpack is the universal deployment TT Modular Pack 45+ with 45-liters of configurable space and a removable hip belt that can be used separately as a Warrior Belt. The Montane Tactical range has now been around, in a very small way, for the past couple of years. It has found immediate fans, within the UK military, who are familiar with the brand and like the no nonsense, lightweight, outdoor approach. This has seen it taken on for amphibious, mountainous and arctic activities.
Following feedback and in partnership with the exclusive global distributor, Brigantes, Montane have updated the products to take into consideration the experiences of the users. This has led to some small tweaks in design to improve pocket access and allow for the more muscular legs of guys, who are used to carrying very heavy loads.
The new range will be available in the Autumn and will also now include a slate grey sub range based on the very successful stretch jacket, trousers and shirt. SOF Select 19 – Mystery Ranch Introduces New Webbing From MMI Textiles
Thursday, May 23rd, 2019Mystery Ranch has introduced a new tale webbing to certain models. Developed in conjunction with MMI Textiles, it uses MMI’s patented CTEdge to conceal and blend the edge, making the webbing stronger and thicker than your typical 55301 MOLLE webbing which uses solution dyed yarns. This allows for better pull strength, break strength and less slip through the buckles. The 1″ version also incorporates MMI’s exclusive High Blend of MultiCam to reduce any lattering effect that only 1 repeat of the pattern causes.
Along with the increased performance of the webbing, MMI print technology improves UV and abrasion of the ink for long lasting color in the harshest of environments.

SHOT Show 19 – Crye Precision
Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019As in past years, we begin our coverage with Crye Precision. Pursuant to their policy of not displaying a product until it is ready for production, there isn’t much new in the Booth. However, G4 clothing, including hot weather variants are front and center.
G4 incorporates new designs and fabrics.
On the load carriage front, Crye unveiled the Airlite Convertible Chest Rig.
It can be worn with its own harness or mounted to the Airlite SPC.
Additionally, they are displaying the new Airlite Configurable Radio Pouch.
The older model only accepted the AN/PRC-148 while the new version accepts the AN/PRC-148, 152 or two M4 magazines.
Here it is mounted to the Airlite Structural Plate Carrier.
