Explorer Cases 9433, Hard Case for Complete Loadout

SHOT Show 2021 (January 20th, 2021) – Explorer Cases is pleased to announce the latest addition to the professional cases line: the 9433.

The waterproof 9433 case allows the user to transport, protect and store a full loadout.

With an overall length of 1009 mm (39.72 inches) this case fits in the trunk of most civilian vehicles making it an extremely versatile tool for traveling for training and any professional use with unmarked cars. The inner length of 936 mm (36.85 inches) accommodates for all SBRs (even suppressed), carbines and folding/disassembled SPR/DMR.

In the images below are shown two examples of equipment carried for MIL / LE use in the Explorer Cases 9433.

Main features of the 9433 case:
• Two heavy duty wheels that facilitate the transport of a full loadout
• Two oversized carry handles allowing for two-men lift
• Four lockable points (two of which steel reinforced)
• Two Identification Slots (one standard size / one large)

The Explorer Cases 9433 meets the following standards IP67 Certification, STANAG 4280 (ed. 2) and DEF STAN 81-41 (lev. J).

The following features ensure reliability and usability:
• Two integral lifting points molded on both sides allow to comfortably carry heavier loads.
• Lid reinforcements provide rigidity to the case, especially when stacking cases
• Polymer material designed to perform both in high/low temp environments
• Padlocking provision for securing equipment with lock or zip ties
• Lid features with 4 hinges for a smooth and repeatable opening and closing on uneven terrain

Aqua Lung Names Katie Roberts Director of Military & Professional, North America

Tactical Medical Solutions TacMed Introduces the RISE (Rigid Immobilization System for Extremities)

Engineered for professional first responders to be the most rugged, low-profile rigid splint for extremity fractures and pelvic binding in the prehospital environment.

Anderson, S.C. (January 19, 2021) – Tactical Medical Solutions, LLC (TacMed), in support of trained first responders both on the battlefield and on the streets, will be the global provider of more than 150,000 groundbreaking splints over the next three years. TacMed is excited to introduce the RISETM (Rigid Immobilization System for Extremities).

The Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) recognizes splinting and pelvic binding application as a critical step in preventing additional injury during casualty evacuation. But most splinting devices are cumbersome to carry or pack inside a medical kit. Not only does the RISETM significantly reduce weight and size of current market options, it is uniquely capable for both limbs and pelvic stabilization.

Originating from lessons learned on the battlefield, the RISETM is a durable, rugged, extremely compact splint for point-of-injury care. It can be intuitively applied under stress as a straight splint, 90-degree splint, or pelvic binder by using a windlass or ratcheting tourniquet with the available cutout slots. Preformed folding points allow the RISETM to fit into most individual first aid kits, including all standard military-issue IFAKs. The RISETM is radiolucent, blood and chemical resistant, and proudly made in the USA.

The RISETM was developed in partnership with the U.S. Army and tested by military personnel at Fort Hood, Texas, and Schofield Barracks in Oahu, Hawaii.

Strike Industries SIAR

The Strike Industries SIAR is a monolithic modular short-stroke piston gas system AR-15 upper receiver assembly. The SIAR uses any AR-15 compatible barrel with 0.75-inch gas block journal that has a mid-length gas system and the barrel is easily swapped out by loosening two (2) hex screws. Keeping the theme of trying to use as many common Mil-Spec AR-15 parts as possible, the SIAR BCG can use any AR bolt head to easily change calibers. A 4-position regulated gas block propels a single gas piston. Since the operating system is contained within the upper, you can use any lower receiver with or without a receiver extension giving you any option to pair the SIAR upper assembly with. The side charging handle is swappable, non-reciprocating and placed forward out of the way. Handguard has five (5) M-LOK slots on either side and six (6) on the bottom. Various colors. SIAR will need a barrel, BCG, firing, muzzle device and AR lower receiver to complete.
