St. Louis, MO (Dec 3, 2018) – Warson Brands, official licensee of Reebok for duty and uniform footwear, announces two new additions to its popular Reebok Sublite Cushion Tactical series of footwear for law enforcement and military professionals.
The new RB8809 builds upon the success of the Reebok Sublite Cushion Tactical series by offering a coyote brown version with composite safety toe and side zipper for wear with the new Air Force uniform. “With the Air Force transitioning to the OCP uniform, we wanted to make sure they had the option of wearing a composite toe and side zip version of our most popular military boot,” said John Duvic, VP of Product Development at Warson Brands.
Also new for 2019 is the addition of the RB8606, a 6-inch version of the Sublite Cushion Tactical featuring a composite safety toe and side zipper. “Because it is so lightweight, our Sublite Cushion Tactical boots have been popular among law enforcement professionals, and we had several requests for a safety toe version with a side zipper. The composite toe is still very lightweight, but adds a lot of protection,” says Duvic.
The RB8809 and RB8606 will be available for purchase at an MSRP of $150.00 and $160.00, respectively. Reebok Duty will display the full line of Sublite Cushion Tactical boots at SHOT Show booth #10179.
Reebok duty footwear and the Sublite Cushion Tactical series are available through select retailers throughout the United States. For more information on the Reebok Sublite Cushion Tactical, visit reebokwork.com/sublite-tactical.

In an effort to continually improve our products, we have upgraded all wire forms in the MARK (Modular Attach Rail Kit) to a standard length with swaged tips. This means that MARK wire forms will allow more vertical adjustment and will be 100% drop-in compatible with 3M Peltor products out of the box. The new swaged tips are also 100% compatible with our SARA (Sordin Arc Rail Adapter) systems for use on MSA/Sordin-based headsets.
The MARK is the most complete system for direct mounting communication headsets and electronic ear protection to modern helmets. It is the smallest, lightest, and lowest profile attachment method for most popular headset systems used by professionals on the modern battlefield, including 3M Peltor, MSA, Sordin, Safaraliand TCI, TEA, and many more. Kits are available to interface with Genuine Ops-Core ARC, Crye Precision ARC, Revision, Team Wendy, and MTEK MLOK rail platforms. The wire forms of the MARK system are designed to put more inward pressure on the ear cups to improbe the seal. This can provide better hearing protection, electronic communication transmission, and overall fit of the helmet. The small hub leaves more helmet rail estate open for attaching other mission critical gear like lights, illuminators, cameras, etc.

Aquabotix launches three new products in the SwarmDiver family of products:
• the SwarmDiver STEALTHline for covert defence applications;
• the SwarmDiver NIGHTLINE line to support special operations missions; and
• the SwarmDiver EDGE line for security, deterrence and harbor management purposes.
Sydney, Australia and Fall River, Massachusetts, USA – UUV Aquabotix Ltd (ASX:UUV) (“Aquabotix” or the “Company”) today announces that it has launched three new products – SwarmDiver STEALTHTM, SwarmDiver EDGETM and SwarmDiver NIGHTLINETM, in addition to the Company’s existing base SwarmDiverTM product. The three new products are tailored for specific defence and commercial applications and expand the use cases for the SwarmDiverTM family of products. These three new products will be offered in addition to the Company’s existing base SwarmDiverTM product.
SwarmDiver STEALTHTM The SwarmDiver STEALTHTM line is intended for use in covert defence operations. This line of vehicles features a ruggedized exterior coating over a specialty graphic camouflage paint, a low-noise emitting motor, and no visible vehicle status lights to deliver a stealthy mission capability for SwarmDiver STEALTHTM to transit through littoral, harbor, and other challenging zones where avoidance of adversary detection is critical.
Aquabotix created the STEALTH model to address military end-user and large defence company demand for a highly effective means of covertly collecting intelligence and transferring data in littoral environments where enemies are continuously monitoring activity through the use of acoustic sensors, electromagnetic spectrum monitoring, and visual detection. Beyond collecting intel, the STEALTH line can be used to securely transfer data between two points without the risk of interception posed by wireless transfer methods.
SwarmDiver NIGHTLINETM The SwarmDiver NIGHTLINETM shares the same key features as the STEALTH line, including the ruggedized camouflage exterior and low-noise motors, and also has an added ultraviolet (UV) coating to make nighttime recovery of those vehicles easier. The UV coating is invisible to the naked eye, but can be detected at night or in low light environments when illuminated by the right wavelength UV light source. Aquabotix created this variant specifically with special forces use in mind.
SwarmDiver EDGETM The SwarmDiver EDGETM line has applications in governmental, defence, and commercial domains. This line of vehicles is equipped with high intensity lights to create a visual boundary and act as a first line deterrent along a shore line, around a vessel or docking area, or near any other item of interest. Aquabotix created the EDGE line of vehicles to respond to threats of piracy, militant, or other disruptions to commercial and governmental activities.
Whitney Million, Aquabotix’s Chief Executive Officer, commented “Our SwarmDiver product has literally dozens of applications and end-uses, solving problems that, to date, were difficult to manage, and in some cases, unsolvable, for commercial and governmental maritime and naval users. The three new products focus on only some of these issues. We plan to continue to evolve our family of products in order to enable our commercial and governmental partners to solve the challenges they face in real world situations around the globe.”

Arnhem, The Netherlands, November 29, 2018 – Teijin Aramid, leading manufacturer of premium aramid, has expanded its development support for customers of the defense and security industry. A completely new, first-class shooting range, based on the latest standards in technology and software, has been created in its Application Competence Center (ACC) close to the EMEA sales office in Wuppertal, Germany. This new state-of-the-art shooting range will allow customers to develop their new products designed to counter specific threats.
For over 30 years, Teijin Aramid supports customers in the development of tailor-made solutions used in soft and hard ballistic applications for police, army, and VIP environments. Changing threats and individual demands are challenging development requirements. At the EMEA Application Competence Center (ACC), Teijin covers a wide range of testing standards for safety and defense applications. Their aramids Twaron®, Teijinconex®, Technora® and the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) Endumax® are tested in individual customer solutions and partly even with other products or components. The different tests and developments in the ACC take place in order to generate protective solutions against heat, open fire, cut, stab and ballistics.
The ACC is a strategic location for development support and testing. Customers from all regions benefit from the long term experience in aramids and polyethylene, their converting and the broad offering of testing possibilities. Efficiency was one of the major drivers for this investment. A combination of work process optimization and implementation of new technology and testing software, turns the new shooting range into a first-class testing facility. The range length was increased to 17 meters and is compliant with various soft ballistic and hard ballistic testing standards, including helmet testing. This latest technology protects operators and the environment from ballistic threats, pollutions, etc.
For the near future, additional enhancements are planned, e.g. a back face measurement performed via automatic scanning, providing information on depth and volume of deformation. Depending on market needs, an increased threat spectrum will be considered, as well as providing video streaming capability allowing customers around the world to witness ballistic testing live.
