Tuesday, January 21st, 2025

Las Vegas, Nevada

TNVC is proud to announce among the new releases debuting at the 2025 NSSF SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Aether Optics Specter Panoramic Night Vision Goggle (PNVG)!

tnvc.com/shop/aether-optics-specter-pnvg-panoramic-night-vision-goggle

Founded as a joint endeavor between a former USSOCOM capabilities developer and a JPL engineer, the Specter LWPNVG is the first U.S. developed, designed, and manufactured commercial production panoramic night vision goggle to be available on the market, and has undergone extensive testing by a wide range of professional and enthusiast end-users.

While panoramic goggles are not new to the VAS marketplace, with many companies attempting to replicate the success of the GPNVG to various degrees, the Aether Optics Specter PNVG is the first to be privately developed in the United States for individual users and enthusiaststhat is not simply an adaptation or copy of an existing panoramic goggle system.

The name, Specter PNVG, is derived from the Spectral Bat (Vampyrum spectrum), the largest predatory bat native to the Americas and an apex predator within its ecological niche. The Specter PNVG housing is built from a combination of high strength MJF polymer with aluminum and carbon fiber components for added strength and durability, the Specter PNVG is designed for rugged use, and easily serviced and maintained by qualified technicians and is compatible with all standard 18MM Gen. 3 MX-10160 format image intensifier tubes and based on user requirements, and is compatible with both standard, BNVS dovetail mounts as well as the Swift Universal FPG-21 advanced helmet mount.

The Specter PNVG is powered by a remote battery pack power supply that can be adapted to either ANVIS-style LEMO power supplies such as the LPBP-GO (Low Profile Battery Pack, Ground Optimized) or the USSOCOM standard BNVS connector utilized on the AN/PVS-31A BNVD. Among the Specter’s features are novel and intuitive method of IPD (interpupillary adjustment) that is simultaneously extremely secure, but resistant to impacts and damage that could result in breakage or binding in other fixed bridge goggle systems.

Like all TNVC in-house built systems, the AO Specter PNVG is built to order and lead times may apply. AO Specter PNVG systems are available to order now through TNVC and will be on display at TNVC’s Booth 62211 during NSSF SHOT Show 2025, January 21-24—swing by and check it out, along with our other exciting new releases!

TNVC and Envision Technology are proud to publicly unveil the new Envision Technology RAIL (Rail-Mounted Aiming / Illumination Laser) and RAILc (Rail-Mounted Aiming / Illumination Laser, Commercial) weapon-mounted NIR/VIS miniature aiming laser at the Envision Technology booth, #56108 and the TNVC booth, #62211 at the 2025 NSSF SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada!

The RAIL and RAILc are in production now MSRP for the RAILc Class 3R commercial variant is $3,699 and willavailable for pre-order at TNVC with deliveries estimated to begin in late-summer 2025.

tnvc.com/shop/envision-technology-rail-rail-mounted-aiming-illumination-laser

The RAIL and RAILc share their DNA with the Envision MARS Miniature Advanced Rangefinder System (MARS), which was recently awarded a contract by USSOCOM for the Miniature Aiming Ranging Laser (MARL) program and has been developed and tested while integrating extensive feedback from end-users, resulting in a highly intuitive and ergonomic multi-function aiming laser (MFAL) system in an exceptionally small form factor, weighing under 6 ounces, including the onboard, laterally mounted CR123 battery, making it more resistant to recoil and weapon shock even when used on belt fed or heavy caliber weapons.

The RAIL and RAILc feature coaligned, output adjustable NIR and visible aiming lasers as well as an independently adjustable (elevation/wind/beam divergence/ output power) VCSEL NIR illumination laser and a wide-angle NIR LED illuminator for confined spaces or Close Quarters Battle (CQB) and is user configurable for VIS and CQB override modes and are available with either green and red visible aiming lasers as well as Class 3B (Restricted) and Class 3R (Commercial) output variants.

The RAIL and RAILc measure <3.7” x 2.4” x 1.4” (height above rail), about the size of a pack of Class A cigarettesand occupying a similar footprint to the USSOCOM LA-23 aiming laser.

Yet despite its small size, like the MARS, the RAIL and RAILc is once again a masterclass in human factors engineering, ergonomics, and “switchology” for weapon-mounted low-light enablers featuring control interfaces that are both large and distinct enough to be distinguished and activated in the dark by feel alone even while wearing gloves without creating snag points or protuberances from the main housing, adding to the overall rail space needed for effective control and manipulation. The RAIL’sswitchology is a testament to the insight possessed by Envision’s design, engineering, and leadership teams and gained from decades of designing and building world-class NIR aiming lights and lasers with direct end-user feedback.

Even the attachment for the RAIL’s optional three-button remote switch is smartly designed, featuring an environmentally sealed, flat attachment point rather than a “plug port” that is self-contained within the device footprint, creating a further “rail-estate” penalty for using remote device activation, and remote switches are available in 6”, 12”, and 20” lengths to provide maximum flexibility to end-users for a multitude of platforms and mounting configurations.

The RAIL and RAILc are in production now, and the RAILcClass 3R commercial variant and will available for pre-order at TNVC with deliveries estimated to begin in late-summer 2025 (MSRP $3,699). Class 3B variants are also available for order now to qualified parties, for more information, please visit our websites or contact govsales@tnvc.com or sales@envision-tek.com

Columbia River Knife & Tool (CRKT), a brand synonymous with innovation, craftsmanship, and intelligent design, today unveiled the new Provoke® X, a first-of-its-kind morphing tactical axe that fits in your pocket. A powerful, portable, self-defense tool, the Provoke® X builds off the success of the original Provoke® morphing karambit knife, bringing the pioneering Kinematic® technology into a new product category.

The Provoke® X deploys with a satisfying flick of the wrist, ready to swing into action at a moment’s notice. but the industry as a whole and the Provoke X ups the ante once again,” said Doug Flagg, VP of Marketing & Innovation for CRKT.

Introducing the Pirata Mid and Low by OTB Boots
(Pronounced Pee-Rah-Tah which isItalian for Pirate)

Let’s address the obvious: yes, the Pirata draws design inspiration from Altama’s Maritime Assault shoe. And there’s a solid reason for that. In fact, Dan owns the design and licensed it to them from the very beginning—a Shark Tank-style deal, if you will.

Now, meet the next evolution: The OTB Pirata

We’ve taken everything great about the original and made it even better in a 2.0 version.

The Pirata features:

A wider, more forgiving fit – for superior comfort.

A contoured, water-draining footbed– built to withstand wet environments.

OTB’s Future Foam midsole – delivering unmatched cushioning and support.

The real game-changer? The integrated knit sock, which acts as a barrier against sand and debris—modeled after the proven performance of our Abyss boot.

The Pirata isn’t just an update; it’s a leap forward. Built for those who demand more, wherever their mission takes them.

Zev Technologies Announces New Product Releases at SHOT Show 2025

Monday, January 20th, 2025

January 20, 2025 — West Valley City, UT — Zev Technologies is excited to announce several upcoming product releases at SHOT Show 2025. This includes the Folding Defensive Platform (FDP), the OZ9sc, Acro Optic Duty Slides, Compact Combat Hypercomp Slide Kits, and more sizes of Glock slides and barrels. Each of these products will add something unique to the firearms industry and are anticipated to hit the shelves in 2025/early 2026. Attendees can stop by booth #20463 to view these new products and several other upcoming releases.

The FDP includes two of the most anticipated products that Zev will be releasing this year. It is a project they have been working on with Magpul and are excited to make available to the public toward the end of first quarter. The FDP will originally be launched as a short-barreled rifle with a pistol variant to follow. The FDP provides unmatched versatility with its folding design, making it easy to store and deploy in critical situations.

“The FDP is unlike anything else on the market,” said Zev Tech Marketing Manager, Ben McClelland. “Its groundbreaking folding design makes it extremely compact and portable without sacrificing firepower. It’s also lightweight, durable, and includes an integrated accessory mount, adjustable sights and ambidextrous controls.”

The OZ9sc is Zev’s rendition of a subcompact pistol, capitalizing on the popularity of the Glock 43 and Glock 48. It’s a smaller version of the OZ9, but includes all of the same impressive features.

The Acro Optic Duty Slides will be offered for the following fitments: G-19, Gen 1-3 & Gen 5, and G-17, Gen 1-3 & Gen 5. The Compact Combat Hypercomp Slide Kits will give shooters who don’t own a Zev Tech Hypercomp pistol the opportunity to run the top end on their Gen 3 Glock 19. The kit will include the slide, barrel, recoil assembly, front and rear sights and upper parts kit.

“We’ll also be adding G43 and G48 sized slides and barrels to our line of Glock compatible components,” said McClelland. “This is a direct result of customer and dealer requests and we are excited to offer it!”

Additionally, Zev Technologies plans to revamp their rifle lineup by adding more caliber and barrel-length options. They plan to shift all rifle models to the legacy MML hand guard/upper mounting system. The current wedge-lock system will still be supported with handguards and compatible forged upper receivers.
