KDG – KINECT M-LOK QD Swivel Mount-Extended

KDG was recently asked to develop a Quick Detach sling swivel variant of the proven Kinect line for a government customer. The new KINECT M-LOK QD Swivel Mount-extended features a dual-purpose design, allowing the user to set their forward sling position exactly where they want it, or to use it as a standard section of Picatinny rail to mount a light, laser or bipod. The Socket is rotation limited, and features six slots of Picatinny rail.

The low profile design is snag resistant, and instantly removable from the weapon. The rock solid lock up on M-LOK forearms can support the weight of heavier firearms. Available now, the new Kinect M-LOK QD Swivel Mount- extended can be found on KDG’s Website for a MSRP of $64.99

HopticUSA – Universal Chassis Quiver

After I mentioned the Hoptic Quiver over the weekend, owner Matt Stoner sent me this note about his latest version.

All summer I have been experimenting making different hole spacing Quivers for various chassis makers who don’t utilize KeyMod or M-Lok, such as the Desert Tech, XLR Element and J. Allen Enterprises. These three manufacturers all have hard point attachments for adding Picatinny rails but all use different spacing and hardware.

Enter the Universal Chassis Quiver (UCQ) by doing away with one of the screw holes and adding a slot I have given the UCQ a mounting wingspan of 1.38” to 2” and everything in between. Simply by changing hardware the UCQ now works on numerous chassis, I have machined relief cuts to the back side of the Quiver to accommodate the J. Allen Chassis allowing the UCQ to lay flush. The UCQ is M-Lok compatible and a 3/8 thread insert kit is in the works to attach the UCQ to traditional wood and fiberglass stocks that have no attachment points.

Brownells Releases Custom Slides For Glock Pistols

Grinnell, Iowa – Brownells has expanded the menu for pistol customization enthusiasts, releasing unique drop-in slides for popular models of Glock® handguns.

Made to fit Gen3 frames in both Glock® 17/22 and Glock® 19/23 sizes, Brownells Glock® slides are easy to rack and “press check” and also allow the user the option of adding an electronic sight.

Perfect for both stock Glocks and custom builds, the Brownells slides fit the Polymer80 80% Glock® frames, also available at Brownells.

The slides feature special serrations and cuts, and come with the choice of a slot for a Trijicon RMR or similar sight. Some slides have a window cut in the top to aid cooling, enhance appearance and lighten the gun.

Machined out of stainless steel, the slides have a tough Nitride coating that resists heat, wear and abrasion. The slides are stripped, and will require additional parts to complete.
