This is Spartan Blades’s brand spanking new take on the classic OSS Lapel Dagger.
The original intent of the knife was for use not as a weapon but as a utility tool. Spartan Blades has added a small screwdriver in the back / pry bar (with the sheath on). The sheath is Kydex and can be suspended on a chain for neck wear but they are working TYR Tactical to make a sheath that can be sewn into clothing. The 4″ long knife is made from CPM 20CV.
Under Armour has introduced the TAC Elite Pant and Combat Shirt in their Ridge Reaper Camo Barren pattern. The base fabric for both is a Storm water resistant, Ripstop 100% Polyester with a Charged Cotton body for the Combat Shirt.
The TAC Elite Combat Shirt has several interesting features including a yoke, inset pen pocket and upper sleeve pockets with reinforcements.
One thing that sticks out on the TAC Elite Pant is dual thigh pockets on either side.

Gator Premium is an upgrade to the iconic Gator line, which features blades made from S30V steel. The handles of these new knives have a scaly texture very much inspired by their namesake, and they also come with similarly textured sheaths. Only the fixed blade has the metal pommel, although both knives feature lanyard holes. Not pictured are the GH models with a hooked point.
In the image above, you can compare the new Gator Premium Folder CP (top) to the original Gator Folder (bottom).
Here’s the Premium Folder and Fixed knives in their sheaths. This new line is designed and built in Portland, Oregon.
This is the Short Stack. It’s a complete AR-15 armorer’s tool in an extremely compact package. In fact, at the booth it was displayed as fitting inside Magpul MOE and MIAD grips. – Bit tip storage
– Torque generating design
– 6 bit tips
– pin punch

The Airfoil is a folding knife, with a fine edge, T-shaped thumb studs, and a pocket clip. It’s very light weight at only 2.2 oz., and has a very smooth open action.
The Skyridge is an assisted open knife with a fine edge blade, dual thumb studs, and a pocket clip.
The Can Cannon is a fully assembled AR-15 upper receiver which is capable of launching a standard unopened 12-ounce can of soda up to 105 yards, using standard MIL-SPEC blanks. It is BAFTE approved as a non-destructive device. Future accessories, including a net launcher and dog training toys will soon follow. Available in Black, FDE, and OD Green.
While Norotos is constantly working on new products, I got to check out two new items that I think you’re really going to like.
First up is the Low-Sto which is the lightest, most compact mount on market. While it wasn’t appreciably lighter than its predecessor, its small stature means that your NODs will sit closer to your head when in the up, or stowed position. In addition to its compact size, It also features their new adjustable breakaway which can be set via the screw head seen in the upper left of the mount in the photo. Set at 10 lbs from the factory, it is adjustable from 5-30 lbs of force.
Even cooler is this next item, one of those, “Why didn’t I think of that?” products. The Universal Shroud Light is available in Black, Tan or Coyote. Just like the name implies, it integrates six angled LEDs into the housing which work in two banks (two and four LEDs). On the model I looked at the bottom two were Blue and the upper four were White light but they can configure them how ever you need. The beauty here is that the light source goes wear you are looking so you don’t have to constantly adjust a beam or crane your neck like on a side mounted light.
Looking at the shroud, the top right recessed button activates the light function such as bottom two or top four. The left button controls intensity from 4% up to 100%. It is powered by a single AA battery which stows in the integrated compartment below the shroud. The shroud incorporates a smart battery sensor which blinks twice once the battery reaches 50% of used capacity and steps the intensity of the beam down. It does this until the battery is exhausted. With a AA battery on low setting it will run over 40 hours.
Warson Brands, exclusive licensee of Reebok military and tactical boots, has partnered with W. L. Gore & Associates to offer the first Berry complaint military footwear with Extended Comfort Texhnology.
Warson Brands has been manufacturing footwear since 1989 and has provided Reebok brand occupational and safety footwear and duty uniform footwear which includes military since 2013.
In addition to the GORE-TEX Extended Comfort Technology, the Reebok KRIOS incorporates the MeraMAX polyurethane outsole which is lighter weight and four times more abrasion resistant than rubber.
Additionally, Warson had the foresight to offer the KRIOS in all four current military boot colors. Tan will be available initially this Spring followed shortly by Sage with Black and Coyote next. Naturally, the Black color has a polishable toe and will be great for LE and public safety professionals.
But the real interesting stuff is in the inside. The Extended Comfort Technology is a different Gore-Tex “recipe” than you are probably familiar with. It’s meant for hot weather. That’s right, no more sweaty feet in the Summer. Your feet can remain dry in hot, wet weather. This is because, it’s right up against the outside of the boot with the membrane and the exterior Cordura fused together. The boot isn’t packed with extra material that will absorb sweat and heat up your foot. What’s more, the KRIOS absorbs 90% less water than non-waterproof boots. This is because the membrane is right up against the outer shell of the boot and means that it will dry much faster.
I want to point out that this is an AR 670-1 compliant boot and will be available just in time for this Summer’s hot weather. Dealers should contact Warson Brands at 877-753-2426. For additional information, visit www.reebokwork.com/krios.
