Born from a successful Kickstarter campaign, Rhino Laces were developed by wildland firefighters who found themselves needing a more durable lace to match their work boots. The laces utilize a patented formula that makes them highly durable. Rhino Laces claims the laces “…cannot be burned, cut, sawed, chopped, destroyed, or broken…”, yet they promise to replace any damaged laces for free.

The laces come in Spec Ops Black, Coyote Tan, Reflective Black, and Reflective Red in lengths of XS – 5XL. Made in the USA.

Tidewater Tactical is holding their 6th annual charity golf tournament. This year it is benefiting Special Operations Wounded Warrior. $100 per individual or $400 for a 4 person team on Friday, June 27th at Redwing Golf Course.

Bodyguard Blanket

The Bodyguard Blanket is a bullet resistant body cover designed to protect from firearms and inclement weather including tornadoes. The blanket consists of two ballistic materials which provide a level of protection consistent with Level IIIa NIJ standard. It can either be wrapped around or strapped onto a person to offer protection.

It’s an interesting concept, but it’s also $1000 a unit. They also claim that children can interlock like Romans interlocked shields to repel attacks.

TrackingPoint Labs – Shotview App & Wearable Technology

Skallywag Tactical Dagger Update

Skallywag Tactical has just announced a major upgrade to the Skallyway Tactical Dagger. Originally, the Dagger was CNC machined from 440c stainless steel and Cerakoted. Now, Skallywag is CNC machining the Dagger from superior D2 tool steel and is using Ion Bond for the coating process – Black and FDE.

Skallywag is also working with Blade-Tech who has developed a brand new sheath for the Dagger. It comes Tec-Lok standard, but can also be outfitted with Molle-Lok or IWB clips for alternative mounting methods.

Kitanica – Backcountry Pants Now Available In Black

Kitanica’s popular Backcountry Pant is now available in Black. Made from 50/50 NyCo ripstop fabric and Mil-Spec A-A-55301 nylon webbing, the Backcountry pant features 2 hip pockets, 2 rear pockets, and 2 knife/cell phone pockets on each leg for plenty of carry space. The riveted button waist features a YKK metal fly zipper, and a 7 belt loop, contoured waistband. A Velcro side cinching system allows the wearer to adjust the pant to their liking, and reinforced knees, a reinforced seat, and bar-tacked stress points make for an overall durable pant.
