The enhanced grip pattern of Wilson Combat’s X-TAC 1911 has become the standard with hard users who run the 1911 platform in extreme service environments. You can now get this unmatched grip security and styling in a special X-TAC model exclusive to Bravo Company MFG-The BCMGUNFIGHTER 1911.

This outstanding tactical package retains the core features of the X-TAC and adds a tactical light rail and other select performance options that BCM’s experts demanded like the Bullet Proof One Piece Magwell, solid medium trigger and tritium front sight. Wilson’s renowned Armor-Tuff finish was chosen to offer a non-reflective and corrosion resistant finish that can stand up to the most severe global environments. In tandem with the BCMGUNFIGHTER/VZ G-10 grips, the frame’s X-tread pattern locks securely into the firing hand and reduces muzzle flip without snagging on clothes or cover garments.

BCM Standard 16″ C8 SFW (Special Forces Weapon) Upper Receiver Group

Monday, January 12th, 2015

Created at the request of Larry Vickers by Bravo Company, the BCM Standard 16″ C8 SFW (Special Forces Weapon) Upper Receiver Group was inspired by the Colt Canada C8 upper receiver used by several NATO SOF units.

You’re getting BCM quality here but in the same configuration as the Diemaco/Colt Canada C8 SFW. Additionally, the URG includes a removable Simon Sleeve (on front of barrel) used to mount a variety of accessories fielded by these units. That’s something you aren’t going to find in an off-the-shelf build.

European SOF began to field the Diemaco/Colt Canada C8 slightly behind the USSOCOM adoption of the M4A1 in the 1990s. Throughout the war on terror, its use expanded. Currently, it is fielded to Canadian SOF, various British Special Operations units, Norwegian Special Operations, Dutch Military, and others.

American Gunfighter Episode 3 – Pat McNamara, TMACS – Presented by BCM

Monday, December 1st, 2014

BCM is proud to feature Pat McNamara in the third episode of our ongoing series, American Gunfighter. American Gunfighter has given been a unique opportunity to pull back the veil and highlight both the history and motivations of the instructors in our BCMGUNFIGHTER program.

Pat McNamara has 22 years of Special Operations experience, 13 of which were in 1st SFOD-D. He has extensive experience in hostile fire/combat zones in the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. Today, he trains individuals at basic and advanced levels of marksmanship and combat tactics. He retired in 2005 from the Army’s premier hostage rescue unit as a Sergeant Major. But that is only a small part of the story. Watch to learn the rest.

The much anticipated BCM Kinesthetic Angled Grip is finally available. It’s the result of an ongoing collaboration between BCM and Travis Haley, offering an ergonomic forward grip with a reduced profile.

inaction_shoothouse_01

Manufactured from high-quality, impact resistant polymers, the KAG offers shooters a bio-mechanically efficient handstop platform which complements modern shooting grip techniques. Its forward rake design creates an interface for positive retention and joint limitation relief to the wrist, elbow, and shoulder for smooth weapons manipulations without adding substantial girth to a weapons system. The KAG is textured front and back for positive manipulation.

The KAG comes in two configurations: KAG-KM for KeyMod, and KAG-1913 for Picatinny rails.

The KAG-KM utilizes a patent pending snag free internal mounting system, allowing shooters to take advantage of KeyMod, one of the most popular and versatile weapon mounting systems currently available.

setpiece_KAG_1913

The KAG-1913 uses BCM’s Direct Mount Picatinny 1913 Interface System which spreads energy and force throughout the accessory while securing the grip to the mounting surface.

The KAG is available in Black, Foliage Green, Flat Dark Earth, and Wolf Gray.

Gunfighter Moment – Larry Vickers

Saturday, September 27th, 2014

I get people asking me all the time why do I prefer BCM carbines over others I have used or been affiliated with in the past. The answer is simple; mindset. I have found that Paul Buffoni the owner and founder of BCM has the exact same mindset as I do- period. He gets the job done and makes sure that BCM products can be counted upon when you need them the most. There are numerous examples of Paul taking a financial loss when the easy way out would have been selling a substandard product vs. scraping it.

Two examples immediately come to mind – BCM’s first barrels were not to specification, Paul Buffoni discovered this after he had them independently tested, and he trashed them – thousands of dollars worth of barrels – vs selling them anyway. Despite the fact they would have sufficed for 99% of the market he refused to compromise. This put BCM behind the power curve financially for better part of a year and pushed back BCM barreled uppers for even longer.

In addition Paul Buffoni is very pro military and spent time in the Marine Corps which had a dramatic impact on his frame of mind thereafter. This is the core reason why he won’t cut corners and only put the BCM name on products that he would trust his life to – after all, if he wouldn’t count on it, why should you ?

That’s why I’m with BCM – mindset. Plain and simple.
