Sneak Peek – Velocity Systems Boss Rugby in Brown

Velocity Systems is poised to not only release a long sleeved version of the popular Boss Rugby (seen here in Earth) but also a new short sleeved color; Brown. You can see that the new Brown is much darker than the current Earth and will fill the need of many customers looking for a true Brown shade.

The Boss Rugby remains my go-to range shirt for warm weather and now that there’s a long sleeved version, I can wear one all year round.

Velocity Systems Introduces Accessories for Arc’teryx LEAF Khard Series of Packs

Velocity Systems has created the next generation of accessory inserts for the Arc’teryx LEAF Khard series of packs, including the new Khard 60, capable of carrying configured carbines. The size and configuration of the Khard 60 offer some new options.

You can see there are some new accessories that haven’t been offered before including a PALS panel.

This is just the first phase. Phases 2 and 3 offer even more options.

Below you can see photos of two sample loadouts (Khard 30 and 60) to give you an idea of the possible. Naturally, the pack/accessory combination is modular, so how you use them is up to you.

Velocity Systems – BOSS Rugby And Range Shorts Color Comparision

Yesterday, I drove to the Velocity Systems factory to pick up samples of the new Range Shorts and the MultiCam BOSS Rugby. While we were there, I also happened to purchase the Tan BOSS and Range Shorts for one of my kids.

Due to popular demand, we took a photo for a color comparison between the Earth Tan BOSS Rugby and Tan Range Shorts. As you can see, the BOSS Rugby is closer to the Sand color for current issue Army T-shirts, while the range shorts are closer to a traditional Khaki. This Tan turned out great and I really like the color.

The BOSS Rugby has long been my go-to range shirt and these new shorts are awesome. I had a pair of an earlier version and they’ve really dialed the design in. Designed with a customer from the ground up for range use, the pocket configuration is well laid out.

Velocity Systems Range Shorts Now Available

Velocity Systems’ Range Shorts have finally arrived! Made from 50/50 NyCo fabric, the Range Shorts feature waist belt adjustment for use without a belt, and slit leg opening for full articulation. The front pockets are slanted to prevent contents from digging into the leg when kneeling, and the side pockets are sized to hold rifle or pistol mags. The rear pockets are deep for additional storage, and the Range Shorts also feature dual external dump pockets with Velcro tab closure.

Available in Tan and MultiCam. Made in the USA.
