Oral IV from Warrior Wound Care

Wednesday, October 19th, 2011

Warrior Wound Care’s literature on their Oral IV product claims that it contains a “worldwide patent pending formula” of “Crystalloid Electrolytes and essential trace minerals.” The point is to get some electrolytes into you and restore your natural pH level.

So if you’ve figured out that Oral IV is great for dehydration the next thing you are going to wonder is how it is at counteracting one of the most common forms of dehydration for the male aged 21 and up; the hangover. While I fortunately haven’t suffered one in some time I did get a serious case of the crud during the whirlwind of trade shows that was known as September. I decided to try Oral IV as part of my recovery regimen on one particularly unsavory Sunday morning and sure enough, after drinking it straight from the ampoule, I felt better. Much better. Ok, so my experience is far from scientific but I’ve heard from several guys that have taken it after over-imbibing the night before and they say it worked for them too.

It’s all about restoring some natural order at the cellular level and it seems, from my experience that Oral IV’s mixture of electrolytes works.

Packed in sets of 4 individual soft ampoules, the top twists right off. There’s no glass to break. They just got a new shipment in so get yours.

Afghan Border Police Adopt Ghostex Pattern

Wednesday, October 19th, 2011

HyperStealth Biotechnology Corporation has announced that the Afghanistan Border Police (ABP), an elite division of the Afghanistan National Police (ANP) with a strength of around 20,000 has authorized the Ghostex Kilo-1 pattern as their new uniform camouflage.

You may notice that the pattern looks complimentary to the Operation Enduring Freedom Camouflage Pattern (OCP) currently used in Afghanistan by the US Army and Air Force. This is because the US Government stipulated that the new ABP pattern must have similar coloration but yet be distinctively different. This is so that the forces could work in concert during operations but would not be mistaken for one another in close proximity. Based on this requirement, HyperStealth was able to offer three different patterns from the Ghostex line the same day the request came in.

A Purchase Order has been issued and the first 12,000 yards of fabric has been already been printed. The fabric is milled and printed in the US and then sent to Afghanistan for assembly by Afghanistan citizens working for Afghanistan companies.

This is not the first time HyperStealth has worked with the Afghanis. In 2009, the Afghanistan National Army (ANA) chose Hyperstealth’s Spec4ce Afghan Forest pattern for their uniforms.

Ghostex is a joint venture between ADS Inc and Canada-based HyperStealth Biotechnology Corporation.

AFSOC Memorial March

Tuesday, October 18th, 2011

Having spent several years of my military career assigned as an Intelligence Officer to the 720th Special Tactics Group and a couple of its subordinate squadrons, it makes me proud to hear that 18 of our Special Tactics Airmen are conducting a 812-mile memorial ruck march from Texas to Florida. They begin on 16 October, marching in three-man teams with each team walking about 144 miles carrying 50-pound rucksacks and a commemorative baton engraved with a fallen Special Tactics Airman’s name.

Track their progress on the AFSOC blog hosted by Maj Kristi Beckman.
