Travis Haley is a veteran Force Reconnaissance Marine with 15 years of dedicated real world experience including: combat tours in Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. After leaving the military, Mr Haley served as a special operations and security contractor before partnering with Magpul as founder and CEO of their training division, Magpul Dynamics, and then later, as CEO of Magpul Industries. In 2010, he made the decision to start anew with Haley Strategic Partners, where he has developed advanced training programs and equipment for war fighters, law enforcement and responsible armed citizens.

Griffin Armament Announces New 30SD Silencer

Griffin Armament is now shipping their new 30SD (mod2) suppressor. It features a tube ‘chassis’ machined from billet 17-4 with an integral blast chamber and front mount support, as well as patent pending fluting that increases surface area by 40%, leading to increased cooling efficiency and durability.

The 30SD (mod2) suppressor utilizes the Griffin SDQD interface which uses a heavy duty spring plate / locking gate system, which offers severely reduced wear when compared to traditional metal on metal ratcheting component mounting systems. The 30SD (mod2) also features a low-profile flash suppressor.

The 30SD comes with a 2-port 30 caliber muzzle brake, and for a limited time, when purchased through SilencerShop.com, a 5.56mm M4SD Hammer Comp mount.

Gun Websites – Visual AK-47 Recognition Playing Cards

Gun Websites currently is currently running a Kickstarter campaign for Warsaw Pact weapon playing cards reminiscent of aircraft identification cards. The cards will feature 52 individual Cold War-era firearms, consisting mostly of AK variants, manufactured in Russia, China, East Germany, and Bulgaria. Info on each card will include:

– Kalashnikov Model
– Country of Origin (USSR, China, E. Germany, Bulgaria)
– Countries ‘Cold War’ Flags
– Dates of Production (when available)
– Caliber (color of silhouette indicates caliber)
– Type of Receiver (Milled, Stamped)
– Materials used (Wood, Plastic, Bakelite, etc)
– Factory of Origin (when available)
– Cold War Factory Logos

Of course, the cards will also feature full suits and will fully function as a standard playing deck.

Additionally, if the funding goal is met and exceeded, Gun Websites will produce AK47 playing card stickers and a PVC Velcro patch, respectively.

U.S. Tactical Supply – ODOC 40MM Less Lethal Demo

U.S. Tactical Supply is hosing a Less Lethal Demo with the Oregon Department of Corrections on August 19th at the ODOC range in Salem, Oregon. They will be demoing the new SDI 40mm BIP rounds and the AAMI 6-round 40mm Launcher. The event is open to all Law Enforcement and Military Personnel. Refreshments will be provided at the event.
