FBI Selects Glock Pistol
Wednesday, June 29th, 2016According to an award announcement posted today on FedBizOpps The Federal Bureau of Investigation has selected the Glock pistol as their new sidearm. In contrast to the US Army’s plodding attempt to find a new service pistol, the FBI’s program for a 9mm replacement took just nine months from issuing the solicitation to industry to award. The contract ceiling is $85 million.
