The two founders Zach Steinbock and Sean Matson, have been in the industry for years and continue to find ways to innovate. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to visit the MATBOCK team and they shared with me a new product that was sitting on their work table (fun fact: the tables in their shop are over 40 years old. They were in Sean’s grandmother’s custom drapery shop), the Jungle LIFT (J-LIFT). The J-LIFT is the latest product to join the family of products in the LIFT System. Developed to enhance the capability of the LIFT System, but also support a South American military unit.
The Jungle is a tough environment and this litter is equally as tough. Made from neoprene coated nylon, it will not absorb water and strong enough to carry over 400lbs. Additionally, the litter can double as a hammock; however, we would recommend a bug net on the bottom and top. Lastly, the J-LIFT is compatible with the Combat Carbon Poles.

During last week’s Warrior East, former SEAL and his assistants conducted a couple of combatives demonstrations while wearing Adaptiv suits from LBX Tactical.
