You’ll probably recognize the original Auto-Lock Mojave Buckle (left) from Mystery Ranch Packs. In fact, it was MR founder himself who drove the development of the Gen 2 Buckle (right) in order to provide a more low profile alternative. Both versions provide positive retention of the 1″ webbing they accommodate.
Male and female ends from either generation of the buckle are compatible with one another as well as with other National Molding 1″ SR buckles.
Princeton Tec has introduced a tactical version of their Modular SNAP light. The SNAP comes as a complete kit which can be configured as a headlamp, flashlight, or marker light, thanks to the magnetic base which snaps into the different carriers. It offers 200 lumens at up to 130 hours on 3 AAA batteries and is rated at IPX4 (splashing water).
The accessories for the tactical version are offered in Black and Coyote, like the light.
Along with their come back, OTTE Gear has introduced packing cubes.
Made from 200D Nylon, the Packing Cubes are currently available in two sizes. The XLarge seen above easily accepts a pair of ski boots, while the Medium will handle most of your clothing and accessory needs.
The upcoming Mantis X-10 is not only smaller and lighter than the current model (seen mounted), it will also provide recoil and holster draw analysis as well as the standard shot analysis Mantis is known for.

Mission Spec has released the EC2-XL™, the larger version of the standard Essentials Carrier 2. As the name implies this carrier is designed specifically for XL sized (e,x)SAPI (or like) armor plates (not included).
Just like the standard sized version, the EC2-XL includes native support for industry standard chest rigs (with the addition of 2 QASM buckles), dual tourniquet holders, dual pen/chem-light/medical gloves storage, cable and hydration routing options, rear pack hangers, and simulated PALS sewn into the semi-elastic side straps for extra MOLLE pouch support. Excluding armor, the EC2-XL weighs 29 ounces and is constructed from 1000D CORDURA (500D for MultiCam; Black, Arid, Tropic).
The video was produced for the standard sized EC2.
The EC2-XL is fully compatible with other Mission Spec products such as ShoulderSavers™ (all versions), FlankSavers™, and MagRack5™. Inserted armor is always kept at the highest possible position inside of the plate bags due to the EC2-XL’s armor suspension system. All armor weight bypasses the CORDURA® layer and is loaded directly onto the internal webbing structure.
Available now in the entire line of standard colors and patterns offered by Mission Spec. Custom colors and patterns along with other customizations are possible on a case by case basis. Contact Mission Spec if needed. 100% designed, tested, and manufactured in the United States with US sourced components and Berry Compliant.
